High chance of spotting morons—and being one.
'THERE'S AN IDIOT—OH LOOK, THERE'S ANOTHER.'
Y/N had a glimpse at everyone passing by in the hallways, they were on their way to get next class period. Japanese literature is their next period, located on the upper floor from the library on the first floor—so it is incredibly inconvenient when they arrive back inside after physical education.
But today was different. They had a mission, remember?
They needed to make a brief trip to the library first before the start of their ( or Rantaro's) lecture. The teacher this semester puts a heavy emphasis on classic literature and today is the start of popcorn-reading a tragedy play called: Macbeth—so her expectations are for them to arrive extra early.
'They said the library, right?' Y/N asked themself, turning the locks of their locker to match up with the numbers. They concluded the entering; it soon clicked open.
Skimming through the sections before them, they swiftly retrieved the Macbeth book they required for literature. Now that that matter was dealt with, they needed to get to the school library, the first floor (their locker resides on the fourth floor by the way).
As of right now, they were on the fourth floor, unfortunately needing to make several levels down to fetch the textbook and then taking several flights back up. So many things to do so a stranger they had just met yesterday wouldn't receive a consequence for letting slip their book..
A little bizarre, don't you think?
Sighing, Y/N shut the locker door.
Seeing that they need to go all the way downstairs and then back up again in last than three minutes, they had no more extra time to spare.
'Alright, let's go.'
'WHERE in the library? NERD was never specific about that.' Y/N grumbled, peeking around the massive shelves. The librarian was in the back, so they had to hurry and go before they noticed someone not in class without a pass. 'Maybe he was studying? So by the tables?'
The tables...were on the other side of the library from where they stood.
Luckily, there's also an exit on the other side.
'Erm...by Edition 9 math book, they meant the workbook right?' Y/N mumbled to themself. They was met with three books stacked on top of each other on one of the many desk-like tables lined up against the wall southern wall. 'Or did they mean the textbook for notes specifically as we're in a library...'
Y/N of the future, I thought you were smart.
Regardless, they sighed again. In the end, they made the decision to procure both of the books just in case. They can always return it later if it was the wrong one—besides, he can point out which was his.
'Now I need to get myself upstai—'
"Hey, that's my textbook you're holding! You tryna steal from me?!"
