Why the hell was this castle so big!? Like seriously Ethan and I have already gotten lost twelve times!
"This is some bullshit." I growl as we enter the same room a 3rd time
"I don't understand! We've taken different paths each time but we still end up here!" Ethan groans rubbing his forehead
"Maybe this time we should go all rights?" I say sarcastically, leaning against the wall.
"I mean it wouldn't hurt..."
With a sigh we once again head out to try our luck. Much to my surprise we actually reached a different room.
"Finally!" I accidentally shout
"SHHH!" Ethan shushes me placing one of his fingers over his lips
"Rude." I mutter
As we begin to traverse through the halls my soulmate symbol being to burn.

I try to soothe it by rubbing it, and even scratching it but nothing worked. When we enter the main foyer of the castle, the burning becomes unbearable. I hiss loudly grabbing my arm tightly. My knees almost fall out but I'm able to stumble into Ethan. My friend turns back to me immediately noticing my distressed state.
"Y/N what's wrong?" He asks
"My soulmate mark." I hiss again violently rubbing it, "It's been burning like crazy ever since we got out of that room." I whimper as the pain increases once more
"Wait doesn't that mean-"
"That her soulmate is nearby?" Another voice answers
Ethan and I look up to the sound of the voice, seeing Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters staring down at us.
"Or well, I should say soulmates." The mother chuckles as her daughters land in front of us
My friend steadies me as we begin to walk backwards, the three females eyeing Ethan's arm around my waist with disdain. My eyes study the vampires carefully and I notice that there was a faint glow coming from their left forearms. My breath hitches when I see my soulmate mark on their skin.
"There's no way." I mutter
"What are you talking about?" Ethan whispers keeping his eyes on the moving girls
"They're my soulmates."
"Shit."
"I would suggest surrendering yourselves peacefully." Lady Dimitrescu states beginning to walk down the stairs
"Yeah not happening." Ethan grumbles grabbing my wrist before taking off
A snarl echoes through the castle before the three daughters quickly begin to chase us. I try to keep up with Ethan, my stumbling making it very difficult.
