I decided to listen to draco

"Oi, where you off to mate?" Ginny calls out.

I turn around and stumble a bit from the affect of the weed.

"Oh, Im off to talk to ced." I laugh.

"Funny is it? Are you sure?" She asked.

"Mhm." I smile.

"I'm coming." She replies shovinf her hands into her pockets.

"No Gin, you can't its just me and ced i got this i promise." I reply softly.

"Y/n.. are you sure?" She asks.

"Yes don't worry, go take care of George. I've heard he's gotten himself into quite a bit of trouble." I chuckle.

"Oh god. What now?" She slaps her forehead.

"Someone said he beat up some ravenclaw in the court yard." I shrug.

"Okay, see you later y/n." She walks away.

I start to the Hufflepuff dorm.

Just as I got to the door Edward or Cedric whatever he goes by now walks out.

"Oh! Y/n I was just coming to look for you." He smiles.

"we should talk." I answered.

"okay, come in." He gestures towards the door.

He walks in and I follow behind. We head up to his dorm where nobody can listen.

He shuts the door behind me.

"So whats up?" He asks as I sit down on the bed.

"Lets talk about everything. First of all, what do you go by now? Cedric or edward?" I ask.

"I'm going to keep Cedric." He answered sitting in a chair in front of me.

"Second, why did you do it." I respond.

"Well. I was in danger. The dark lord was trying to recruit me. Come the tournament I was already changed by the third task." He replied.

I look down in shock. I cant help but take it all in. This was my boyfriend, the man I thought was dead. He tricked everyone, his father was crushed. As was I.

"Third." I choke back tears.

"Your father. Does he know?" I ask.

"No.. Its safer for both of us this way." He answered.

The answer sounds selfish but I understand completely.

"What do you expect from me?" I cross my legs.

"I understand you need to trust me before we ever even talk about dating lives." He leaned his chin on his fist.

"So i'm hoping we can be friends for now and maybe build trust." He continued.

"Okay, friends works." I agree.

"Does that mean you see other people?" He asked curiously.

"I went on a single date with Tom. Are you wanting to see other people?" I ask.

"No. I haven't been interested in anyone like how we were." He responded.

"You do as you please dont feel like im holding you back" I shrug.

I have had my fair share.

I snicker to myself.

"Whats so funny?" He asked

I burst out into laughter.

"Nothing." I snort.

"Mkay miss y/l/n" He grinned.

"So we have classes tomorrow, are you staying?" I ask.

"Yeah i might as well." He answered.

"Ok cool. Im gonna head out we should hang out later?" I say standing up.

"Yeah of course!" He smiles.

"that doesn't mean we're getting back together.. i still dont trust you yet." I look at him in seriousness.

his face softens
"I know y/n. but i'll always love you and be here for you."

I smile and walk out of the room.

I was greeted by an angry Tom.

"Y/n. why were you in the hufflepuff dorms." He glares.

I cross my arms and raise an eyebrow.

"Is that any of your business?" I say with sas.

He grins and slides his touch over the top of his teeth.

He grabbed my wrist tight and started walking me somewhere.

"Hey! Let me go what the hell!" I squirm.

"Shut up." He growled.

He pulled us into an empty classroom and pushed me against the door.

"Tom what the fuck!" I scowl.

He stares at me as the silence fills the room.

"you're mine y/n." He whispers not breaking eye contact.

"i dont belong to anyone." I spit making a disgusted face.

"we'll see about that." He chuckles.
