Chapter 11: Ditched

Inangat ni Serene ang kaniyang braso sa ere habang nakahiga sa malambot niyang kama. Gabi na at matutulog na siya, ngunit hindi pa rin siya dinadalaw ng antok. Nakapatay na ang ilaw at tanging ilaw na lamang mula sa labas ng palasyo ang tanging liwanag sa kaniyang silid.

"I wonder if where is Marcela right now. Why did she leave?"

Bumuntong-hininga na lamang si Serene at tumagilid sa kaniyang higaan.

Let's sleep, Serene. There's no point on thinking that.

Maagang nagising si Serene para sa kanilang breakfast. She wore a gown with maroon outer layer and black second layer fabric. It has a u-shape collar with ruffle designs wrap around it and a maroon ribbon at the center of her chest. The gown has bell sleeves as well, with ruffle layers on the end of it. May dalawang medyo maliit na ribbon din sa magkabilaang sleeves nito.

Her hair was braided by Nimfa again with few flower hair ornaments on it. She's wearing a ruby necklace and earrings as well.

Pagkalabas pa lamang nila ng Andromeda Palace ay nakaabang na sa kanila si Vester na kausap pa ng Royal Knight niya. He's wearing a purple waistcoat with white long sleeves undershirt and cravat. His purple tailcoat was hanging on both of his shoulders. It was partnered with Purple trousers and white boots with golden embroidery as well.

"A pleasant morning, Your Highness." Ngiting bati ni Vester kay Serene at nilahad ang kamay nito upang alalayang makababa ng ilang palapag na hagdan sa front porch ng palasyo.

Yumuko rin sina Nimfa, Zael at Lorcan upang batiin ang Prinsipe.

"Good morning, Prince Vester. You've got plans for today?" Ngiting tanong ni Serene kasabay ng pagtanggap nito ng kamay ni Vester.

"Not just for today actually. I'll be out of the palace for how many days, kaya naisipan kong kitain ka nang medyo mahabang oras bago ako umalis."

Nag-umpisa na silang maglakad. Binitawan ni Vester ang kamay ni Serene at dinikit ang braso niya sa nakataas pa ring kamay ni Serene. Kaya napahawak naman ang dalaga rito bilang gabay habang naglalakad sila.

Serene smiled gently. She thinks that Vester is cute and gentleman. Halatang disiplinado silang lahat na magkakapatid. Kahit sina Ahren at Lucio, kahit mapagbiro at maloko ay hindi pa rin nawawala ang pagiging disiplinado at magalang.

"Really? Saan ka pupunta kung ganoon?" Tanong pa ni Serene.

"Adesian. I have an appointment with their Emperor regarding matters with work."

Napatingala si Serene sa kasama.

Adesian... The most biggest kingdom in the South. Actually, it wasn't a kingdom. It was an Empire, dahil sa malaking sakop nito kumpara sa teritoryo ng Sardonia at Zarcaiah. That is why there are only three kingdoms in the South compared to North that has at least five Kingdoms including Zarcaiah and Sardonia.

Because most of the territories in the South are now owned by Adesian Empire after the Royal Line War, 150 years ago. Adesian is also the oldest Empire to be established on the four continents namely; North, South, West, and East.

I haven't been to South nor to Adesian. But I heard that their Emperor was quite young for its position. I don't really know why and I'm not interested at all.
