(written on 4/23/21. i might rewrite this)

i live in a castle

on a cloud

the days are dark

and the nights are dim

the storm within

only thickens

as the castle grows colder

i see lightning

what an amazing wedding

waiting for the main cast

but they aren't even here

aria and zeus couldn't come

they were locked away

and never found

their way out

and no one wanted them out

place the crown

of kings and queens

on someone else

bare the jewel called arestital

for the non-royals

as stone lies

creak though the castle walls

and zeus

can no longer speak

the royal

is no longer weeping

for the fire

is crackling

at night

stay here

and watch me

turn to ash

but then i hear

her soft sound

whisper in my ear

for other ears

our fire has no ashes

iris will come one day

to blow our fire away

and bring my lightning

turn it to something frightening

it burns

and then cracks
