I recall an hour when you looked at me with a mirage of emotions
Mauldin riveting eyes, while I stew in the Amortentia love potion
You agonize about our differences and run into the other direction
However, I recognize our burning evermore saturation
Loving you into self-reflection
Please understand,
You must understand
Like the sky I'll never leave your side
I'll be the sun to warm your mornings
and the Moon to guide your nights into a peaceful slumber
Won't you stay a little while longer?
If we mixed together our wits, we could make a mirror of color
One more beautiful than any sunset
Your focus on the negative will only leave you with regret
and sober sunsets are what we need to share a bed
How I wished you'd call me your lover a thousand times more
I know it is hard for you to forget, forget your pain
Forget those memories,
but you must remember
I will encase you every winter snow
and every fall day
I will love you
One day may you forget and be boiling like I,
