We felt it most at night
When the stars would shine bright
A starving longing to be held within your arms
To be marked by your innocent charms
I've settled in this eaten space too often
Banging my head until the image of you is broken
I crave more but I'll never allow myself a companion
Our star paths tugging at each other,
Silence would allow my thoughts to wander
and it'd always begin with you
Returning as if you were an old tune
Until you whispered what I had been missing
and my heart latched onto this new burning passion
We felt it most at night
You and I laying side my side
Feeling our touch starved hands linger
My heart expands to new expansions it kills me you're so tender
So to you tonight,
I surrender
