The church bell rung, Madeline waited for Arno, Arno walked by the Marquis and set down the Manuscript, then he grabbed Madeline hand and walked away.

"Ah dear Arno and Madeline...."

"Our hopes as to the future condition of the human species may be reduced to three points." 

Arno pulled out what was in the artifact. "So the source of the power.."Madeline mumbled, Arno nodded.

"Napoleon Bonaparte. You are under arrest for treason and deserting your post."

"The destruction of inequality between different nations..." 

Arno and Madeline followed Margot. Leon and Madison were looking out the window. Madeline smiled as Arno walked towards, them Leon and Madison look behind them and ran into Arno's arms. He held onto them both.  Margot smiled while Madeline stroke her stomach, thinking how their lives are going to change in months to come.

"The progress of equality in one and the same nation."

"Final passengers!"  Someone called out as Arno set the device into the box. "This mus reach Al Muelim in Cairo." Arno told the carriage driver. Madeline and Madison looked at each other with smiles. The three of them looked up to see Leon, Arno smiled before walking away with the girls.

"and lastly, the real improvement of man."

Madison looked out the window. "Uh this is Paris?" Madison asked. "You are correct." Arno told her. "I thought we were leaving France?" Madison questioned.  "Well, since you'll be having a new cousin in a few months, Madeline and I thought it was best to stay in France." Arno told her. "Really?" Madison asked, excitedly. "Of course, maybe we can explore." Madeline suggested. "But I'll be with the both of you." Arno said, sternly. "Arno..." Madeline remarked.

"It's fine, besides we're like a family." Madison replied. Arno and Madeline smiled at the young girl.

Madeline stroke the top of the sleeping girl's head before walking out. Madeline hummed as she walked down the hall to hers and Arno's shared room. She saw that he was standing outside on the balcony. She smiled softly.

She wrapped her arms around him, he smiled. "So...?" Arno asked. "She's asleep...." Madeline answered. "She probably didn't know what to think." Arno said. "Well, this is first time she's ever had a room to herself." Madeline said to him. "True, but the question is, will this place be big enough for the four of us?" Arno questioned. Madeline smiled. "We can make it work." Madeline suggested. Arno shook his head and looked at her.

"You always want to make stuff work in unpredictable situations." Arno stated. "Is that a bad thing?" Madeline asked. "No...." Arno said.

Few months later....

Madeline was due in couple months, she was feeling very rounded. Her and Madison walked to the brotherhood. "What's that?" Madison asked as Madeline held something in her hands. "It was your mother's pendant, the brotherhood wants to honor her.... but her blades belong to you." Madeline told her.

"How's the baby?" Madison asked. Madeline looked down at her bump. "Quite well, they are really on the move today." Madeline answered. "I can't wait to meet them." Madison said. "I can't as well."  Madeline said.

Madeline set the pendent down onto the table. "This must be Madison Kenway, honor to make your acquaintance."  Quemar told her. Madison bowed. Madeline smiled. "How are you doing, Master Dorian?" Trenet asked. "Exhausted, but pregnancy can do that to you." Madeline answered. "I can't wait to help the brotherhood again, but for awhile my duty.. is motherhood." Madeline added.

 "Well, if you are interested in research, don't hesitate to ask, but rest for you is important."Beylier told her. "Well,  I would never hear the end of it from Arno if I overdid it." Madeline stated. 

Later that evening, Madison was in her room while Madeline read away. Madeline froze when she heard the floor creak, she quickly reacted by grabbing her blade and held it against the person throat, she gasped when she realize it was her husband.

"Oh Arno.... I'm so sorry." Madeline said as she put away her blade. "You can never be too careful." Arno told her. She hummed. Arno smiled as he looked at her bump. "How's our little one?" Arno asked. "Quite movable if I'm honest, they will not stop using my ribs as punching board, my bladder... awful." Madeline rambled.

"Have you been resting?" Arno asked. "Yes, I walked with Madison today, took something to the brotherhood, headed to the market and came back here after." Madeline answered. Arno hummed. "Not much longer and it will be the four of us."  Arno said, Madeline hummed.

"I for one, can't wait." Madeline answered.

Two months later.....

The snow poured down outside,  Arno and Madison waited around the study as they heard Madeline's screams. Arno sighed.  Madison sighed. "Hey, she'll be fine." Arno said. "The pain she's in." Madison said. "It will be over soon." Arno assured her.

Then it was silent, Arno's heart began to race as he heard someone walked down the stair, the study door open and reveal the midwife. "...You have a daughter." She told Arno. Madison got excited. "You can go see her in a few minutes." Midwife told him, Arno nodded, she shut the door. 

"... Your cousin is a little girl .... I have a daughter." Arno rambled. "Are you excited?" Madison asked him. "Yeah..." Arno answered. 

Meanwhile Madeline looked at their newborn baby girl. "Hi there." Madeline mumbled, then they heard a knock, Madeline made eye contact with her husband. She smiled, brightly at him. He sped over and press his lips onto hers, their daughter cooed. Arno looked down at the tiny baby. "She looks like you." Arno stated. "But she'll no doubt have your brown eyes." Madeline answered. Arno kept the eye contact with his wife until Madeline looked over at her cousin. "Come here Maddie meet your new cousin." Madeline said with a smile, Madison then joined the other side.

"She's pretty." Madison said, Arno and Madeline smiled. "Victoria will be sad that she missed the birth." Madeline answered. "Well I told her it wasn't wise to leave town for London, I knew that my new cousin would be here." Madison replied, Arno and Madeline chuckled a bit. "Does she have a name?" Madison asked. Arno looked at her, Madeline smiled before she answered.

"Yeah...."

"Her name is..."

"Annalise...."
