Victoria waited for Arno's arrival. She didn't let Madeline know about this as Madeline was on her own assignment.

"(Madam) Scott, pleasure to see you again." She turned to see it was Arno. "See you got the modest upgrade, pleasure's all mine, see you know about the begging (Bastard)." Victoria replied. "I was told you have clues." Arno said. "Indeed I do, I'll fill you in while we wait for our suspect, his right hand man." Victoria said.

.............

Arno and Victoria investigate the la Cour des Miracles, They heard shouting, Arno and Victoria looked at each other and followed it until Victoria and Arno saw him. "There you are. Le Roi des Thunes' lieutenant. La Touche." Arno said. Victoria glared over towards his direction.

The guards began sawing off a man's foot. Arno and Victoria shook their heads in disgust, as they began to leave but a voice halted them.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that. Look."

They both looked to see guards blocking the way then back at the man.

"Lovely, no? The good folk of Paris give more money to crippled beggars than whole ones. Le Roi des Thunes sees in that bit of trivia an opportunity to motivate his less-successful employees."

Victoria looked over at him. "That man..." Arno starts. "..Has lost a foot. Now, you two can charge in there, cause a great disturbance and send all the rats scurrying back to their holes. Or you two can disappear into the swarm and follow the rats back to their king... either way, that man has lost a foot." Victoria clenched her jaw.

"It's done."

"Take him to the clinic for a proper cauterization, then send him back to the street."

"(bastard)" Victoria mumbled. "We appreciate the advice." Arno said. "Not yet."

"Who are you precisely? and why help us?" Victoria asked and Arno nodded. "Oh I've had my eye on you for some time now, Arno. I feel it my sovereign duty to aid all those who suffered in cruelest bondage with me at the Bastille and I have a vested interest in seeing the King of Rats caught in a trap... As to my name, I have the pleasure of being Donatien Alphonese Francois Marquis de Sade. Do pay me a visit when you two have tired of chasing vermin.... oh, he's left a lovely trail..... Good Luck" Marquis said.

"I thought he was going to mention my mother." Victoria said. "Hmm."  Arno replied. "My mother was kidnapped when she was my age, the same night my grandfather was killed then Madeline's father joined the templars. Why doe you think Madeline works so hard the way she does." Victoria said. Arno sighed. "How did her mother get the mess with Haytham beats the hell out of me, but there would be no Madeline." Victoria replied.  Then her and Arno looked at the trail. "Well let see where this go."  Victoria said. The both of them followed the trail until the came across the gate with the building.

................

They stepped inside of a building, "He's gotta be upstairs." Victoria whispered and Arno nodded, one by one, they took out the guards. Victoria sneaked up to a door and put her head against the door, rolled her eyes, she tilted her head at Arno to let him know that La  Touche was inside of the room.

Arno then kicked open the door which alerted La Touche. La Touche picked up a blade and tried to swing it at both Victoria and Arno, but failed. Then Arno dragged La Touche to other side of the room.

"No, no, please!" La Touche Exclaimed. Then Arno cuffed him on the wall, Victoria glared. "Give us le Roi des Thunes, and we'll spare you your life." Arno said. "The catacombs! He's in the catacombs beneath the old church!" La Touche exclaimed more.

"What a weak man, wouldn't you agree." Victoria said and Arno nodded. "La Touche, We expected a stronger spine than yours! What will your Master say?" Arno questioned. "Oh God... God help me!" La touche exclaimed as Arno and Victoria left the room.

"That was quite easier then I thought, we need to locate that church." Victoria said and Arno nodded.

...................

"We got our hands full but with the two of us working together, we can manage." Victoria said. "After this, I need to see Madeline." Arno said. "Easy lover boy, she's been busy, but I promise you two are going to have your little reunion soon." Victoria replied.

"I have an idea, I will take out that set of guards, you take out the other, then we will head towards that alleyway towards the church, which more guards will be there, not shocking but maybe that group of people can help, then we will locate the entrance of the catacombs then take down our target, sounds like the plan Dorian?" Victoria asked. "Sound like the plan, Scott." Arno said.

......................

Victoria hissed in pain as she touched her cheek. "Are you alright?" Arno asked her. "Oh... It's just nick, Believe me, I've had worse so has Madeline." Victoria said as they came to entry way to the Catacombs. "Ladies first." Arno said. "Thank you (Mister)." Victoria said as she hopped down then spot a guard, which she took out as Arno hopped down. "We are clear, let's move but I doubt that's the last guard definitely more of them in here." Victoria said and Arno nodded.

They went deeper into the catacombs until they heard shouting. "My lord! My lord!" They heard La Touche exclaimed. Arno halted Victoria as they went over to a corner to hide. "My lord! I've heard, uh, reliable reports that.... that two Assassins are nearby and that... you are their intended target." La Touche explained.

"The worm has grown a spine... now he's a snake." Arno said and Victoria huffed.

"Damn it! It was only matter of time, I knew that much but this is far too soon." Thunes said. "(Yes) My lord... the Assassins are ah.... well connected." La Touche said. "But we have the advantage now, don't we? Muster the guard and lead the hunt for these Assassins. Bring me their heads." Thunes said as he took a seat.

"Yes, My lord! Y-You men, with me! Find them!" They Heard La Touche exclaimed.

"Now to get in there." Victoria said and Arno nodded then they kept going deeper, taking out guards.

"Show yourselves Assassins!"

"Spread out! Find them!"

Then the duo, came across La Touche. "Alright give us your best shot." Victoria said as she clutched onto her sword. Then La Touche step inside of an area close the gate behind him. "He's through there!" La Touche exclaimed then ran off again. Victoria rolled her eyes. "Embarrassing." Arno said. "I quite agree." Victoria said.

................

They came into the le Roi des Thunes was in. "How about we take care of the guards cautiously then get him by surprise." Victoria said and Arno nodded.

Together they took out the guards one by way, then they came across le Roi des Thunes and to which Arno stabbed him.

"My subjects have eyes everywhere, my lord. I offer their knowledge to service of the Order."

"What knowledge could a king of the gutters offer us? The intrigue of rats? you may go."

"'The intrigue of rats?' Pompous fool! If I could lay my hands on him..."

"My master would be pleased to arrange that. Brother."

"You all right, (Mister)? Too much of the king's champagne?"

"Sivert, come away!"

"It is done. De La Serre is dead.... Grand Master."

"Good."

"Holy (shit)" Victoria said as she looked at Arno. "We need to get out of here, let the council know." Victoria added. The both of them escape, taking out guards as they go, then they slid under a rock which now the area is block off where no one can enter through there.

Victoria and Arno dust off. "Where was you and Madeline that night?" Arno asked. "We along with Daneila, was looking into our grandfather. Madeline is trying to get something that templars want, something our grandfather didn't want the templars to get a hold of. Madeline had tried to get you out of prison but they wouldn't allow it." Victoria explained.

"She tried to get me out?" Arno questioned. "(Yes) she knew that you didn't do that (Mister) De La Serre, besides she hasn't spoken to Elise because of this, as she soon hear the news, she headed to the prison, but now I see you two have quite a bit of catching up to do then." Victoria said and Arno nodded.
