Gwen was an early riser. Not the 'seven AM' type of early riser but the 'dawn just broke' type of early riser; the redhead was out of her room by six AM ready for the day, that was until she came to the end of the girl's staircase and noticed Remus Lupin emerging from the boy's staircase still in his pyjamas, looking slightly worse for wear. He was obviously looking for something...or someone and Gwen found the person, or rather the people in question before he did.
There, sprawled over one of the maroon red couches, lay Juniper, her arm hanging over the side, her hair half covering her face as soft snores left her nose; on the other side of the couch was Sirius, a book on top of his chest that rose and fell steadily, his legs were thrown on top of Juniper's casually. Neither stirred as the two Gryffindor's entered the Common Room.
Remus came to stand beside Gwen whose face had twisted into a livid sneer while he remained confused, looking between the two sleeping on the couch,
"Should we wake the-"
"Aguamenti!"
A burst of water shot out of Gwen's wand, dosing Sirius with cold water causing him to startle awake and fall to the floor with a loud thump. Remus stared in bemusement,
"I guess we are waking them then."
Gwen glared at him sharply as Sirius composed himself, sitting up and looking around in a slight daze,
"What the bloody hell just happened?"
Gwen turned her glare on him instead and Remus was partially grateful for that,
"What in the name of Merlin do you think you're playing at Black?"
Sirius glanced up at her, wincing slightly at her harsh stare before noticing Juniper who surprisingly had yet to stir. A foreign softness crept into his heart as she scrunched up her nose due to her dark locks tickling her and he felt the urge to brush those very same locks away for her. Then, he recalled the redhead who looked as though she was three seconds away from spontaneously combusting and a shudder rolled down his spine,
"I don't know what you mean. What have I done?"
Remus found himself debating whether or not Gwen was willing to go to Azkaban for the murder of Sirius Black because from the looks of it, she wasn't far from burying the wizard in question.
"Follow me."
Remus shrugged at Sirius who turned to him for answers while rising from the floor but followed behind Gwen obediently anyway with Remus deciding to join them a moment later after realising Sirius may need back up.
The three whipped past snoozing portraits, their wands raised to light the still dark corridors, going down three flights of moving stairways before reaching Gwen's intended destination; the library.
