Juniper wasn't sure how much time she had spent watching this family that was presumably hers but how could it be when she was right there and this was twenty years in the future.

At some point she had drifted up the stairs, studying the pictures on the walls, entering bedrooms to try piece together exactly what she was missing from her knowledge.

She ended up in a large en-suite bedroom decorated in silver and black and the clothes in the wardrobe gave away that this was in fact her and Sirius's shared room; she traced the furniture coming to a stop at the desk, littered with papers and files, moving some aside to get a better look at the album underneath.

Clearly, someone had been going through it recently, possibly reorganising it as the stench of glue lingered in the air; one large photo was visible, the only moving one on the page. It was dated on the third of November 1986, the date was Sirius's birthday but the photo was not labelled as such, no. The text wrote 'Seven hours of hell to welcome our little angel, welcome little Cassiopeia Heather Black'. Juniper let out a light laugh, Sirius shared a birthday with his own daughter, no wonder they were attached at the hip.

She tried to turn the page but found her hand just faded through the pages, to an extent, Juniper was grateful for this, she wasn't sure how much more information she could process.

Someone thumped up the stairs loudly and Cassie threw open the door to her parents room, shutting it again quickly and darting into the wardrobe,

"Ready or not here we come!"

Voices called up the stairs, Juniper sat on the bed watching the small child; she decided Cassie looked more like her mother than her father, her features weren't as harsh as her brother's, her eyes a milder silver and more blue.

The door opened and the Weasley twins tiptoed into the room followed by the eldest Weasley, Bill,

"I don't think the little Princess is here, I guess we'll just have to look elsewhere."

Fred declared loudly,

"I think you're right, Fred. I hope no one has kidnapped our Princess for themselves!"

George added theatrically; Juniper smiled as Cassie giggled as the Weasley's jumped out on her, Bill grabbing her to twirl her around before running out of the room with the Weasley twins on his heels, laughter bouncing off the walls.

"I like this life. If this is my life, if this is my future...I'm okay with that."

She said aloud to herself,

"Be careful, guys!"

Older Juniper walked into the room, humming under her breath. She made for the desk, clearing stuff away, letting out her hair to re-do it. That was when Juniper saw her grandmother's original copy of Beauty and The Beast enclosed in a glass box, older Juniper seemed to take note of it too, running her fingers along the lid in an almost nostalgic manner.
