Chapter Twenty Two

(Reader POV)

I got up this morning like any other, except no one was around. Not even for breakfast. No one. I just made breakfast for everyone just in case I was up too early. I waited around for an hour and still no one came. I walked up and knocked on Jeff's door. "Jeff?" I say. No answer. I open the door but no one was there, but everything looked like he had just been there. I closed the door and walked down the hall to Slender's office. I knocked. "Come in child." He said in his booming voice. Thank god. I walked in, and sat down. "Where is everyone?" I ask. "I could ask the same. I got up early this morning and no one was here." Slender says. "Maybe they all joined up for a killing spree...?" I suggest. "There's too many for one killing spree, it's too dangerous, but I suppose it is possible" He said. "What if they don't come back..?" I say hesitantly, barley over a whisper. "I'm looking into it child, but for now it's just you and me" Slender says. I looked at the ground. I'm worried about Jeff, BEN, Toby, EJ...I hope they're okay.

I left Slender's office and walked through the empty halls. It was quiet. Too quiet. I went to my room and got my headphones. I started playing (f/s). I laid on my bed reading a book, trying to pass the time. This sucked. Wait. I just had the best idea. I should go back to my old school, in my human form of course. "Slender!" I call, running down to his office. "What child" He says, sounding bored. "Can I go back to my old school? I promise I won't reveal anything" I plead. "Fine, but be careful. Don't reveal us." "I promise!" I say, running out the office to my room.

I packed my notebooks and started walking to school. It was so peaceful in the forest. It's always been my favorite place. I loved the calmness of the woods. Soon enough, I was at my school. A devilish smirk made its way to my face. I walked inside and saw the shocked faces of my classmates. Sure, I had changed a little in my human form. My normal (h/c) hair was a little darker, and my eyes were a dark (e/c), with a hint of black and red. Just enough to intimidate most humans. It was nice not being so shy and timid anymore. They should fear me. Anyone who stands in my way, will die.

It's been a while since I've been out alone. I hummed as I walked to my locker, and some people crowded around me. "What do you guys want." I say, trying to sound bland. "Umm we were just wondering where the hell you've been for months?" One girl says. "Why? It's not like you cared for me when I was here, so why do you care now?" I looked her right in the eye. She turn to her friend and sheepishly walked away. I chuckle to myself as I walk to my first class. It was great to be back. I was feared. Just how I like it.

When I sat down, the teacher looked at me, and back at her paper. Then back at me, "(Y/N), do you have any reason you were out for such a long period?" I giggled. "What is so funny miss (L/N)?" She asks sternly. Everyone looked at me like I was 50 shades of crazy. Which I probably am compared to these 'normal' people. "Miss, I was busy" That was all I told her. "You were busy?" She says. "Yes" I reply. This bitch needs to mind her business before I killed each and every one of these peasants. Everyone turned back around and the teacher glanced back at me before returning to her book.

After class, I went down to the cafeteria and sat alone. I watched the people laugh and talk amongst themselves. I used to be like this. Weird. "So. You're back." This slut wearing all pink walked up to me with what I assume is her boyfriend behind her. "Yeah, what's it for to do with you?" I spat. "I need to put you back in your place. You're getting quite cocky." She says. I stood, just looking at her. She's weak. She'll have her boyfriend fight me. He's not much better. Both of them will end up dead tonight. I chuckled as he stepped in front of her, as if he was 'protecting' her. Hah. I can take both of them. "How about this, you guys meet me tonight at 9pm and we'll settle this, mkay?" I say. "Sure, but don't expect to win" The blonde girl said. "Oh, what's you're name? Or should I just call you Barbie?" I said, trying to push her buttons. She growled and said, "It's Judith, you're gonna bow down to me like all the other idiots.". "Oh I highly doubt that" I smirk.

Her boyfriend shoved me, so I shoved him back. Only just a tad harder. He hit the floor with a thud. I giggled. Turning around, I heard him cursing me out and Judith helping him up. This was gonna be interesting.
