[Flashback]

"I will kill you if this is one of your pranks again." You hissed at Gunther who was holding your hand firmly, pulling you to go somewhere.

"Can you just shut up for once." Gunther hissed back at you.

"Gunther-" You stopped mid sentence as you saw Eld, Petra and Oluo standing under a huge oak tree. They were chatting among themselves but as you both went near them, their gazes shifted to your direction.

"Oi Loser!" Eld shouted looking at you with a grin. You just glared back at him.

"Alrik I will chop off your fingers." Nanaba's voice averted your attention to her. She was walking rigidity towards the oak tree and a scared Alrik was behind her, his hands on her shoulders pushing her forward.

"Are we about to raid some place?" You narrowed your eyes at Gunther and then looked at Eld, who just shrugged at you.

"Okay! Since we all are finally gathered here-"

"He literally kidnapped me! Gathered my foot!" Nanaba cussed, stopping Petra mid sentence. Nanaba glared at Alrik and he just mouthed a "shut up" to her.

"I would pretend you didn't said that." Petra chimed and gave Nanaba a sarcastic smile.

"So as I was saying, since we all are here, I have something for all of us." Petra continued with a smile. Her golden eyes shone everytime she smiled like that, making her look ethernal.

Petra lifted her hand disclosing a purple coloured cloth. She then opened it slowly revealing seven silver rings placed in it.

Rings!?

She looked up to meet our gazes, still smiling fondly.

"This is for our group. You know something in common." Oluo chimed in from behind and smacked Eld's hand who was standing beside him. Eld glared back at Oluo and dusted his hand.

"Oh uh so chessy." You teased and shook your head, then made your way to Petra and took one of the ring and slid in your finger. And so did the others took their rings.

"You better not drop it somewhere!" Petra scolded you in advance, knowing how clumsy you are with things.

"Yes Ma'am!" You engulfed her in a tight hug, receiving curses from her.

"Too much drama." Nanaba huffed. You broke the hug with Petra and looked at Nanaba. Her head hung low, her gaze over the ring in her finger. You tilted your body a little down to look at her face.

"No way! Undercut you're crying!?" You teased her. Her head shot up to look at you. You could see her glossy eyes.

"Why would I!? She shouted back at you and headlocked you with a chuckle, choking the air out of your body. Receiving laughs from the others.

[ Y/N Pov ]

You reminisced the memory in your head. Your hand curled into fists, now turned white. Your nails digging in your flesh. You could feel the cold metal ring on your chest. Which you always wore as a necklace during an expedition, so you wouldn't lose it.

Your eyes were opened but you couldn't seem to see anything clearly. Everything looked blurred through the tears that kept pouring out of your eyes.
Your ears refused to hear any noise. You were suffocating as if there's no oxygen left in the planet.
