"you are so lame when you're drunk."

"atleast i don't cry over people who reject me." you growled back to alrik getting a glare from him.

"my eyes were sweating because of excessive alcohol.. bold of you to assume I would cry over someone." he barked back at you with irritation, saying the most stupid lie you ever heard.

"now look who's being lame!?" you sarcastically said and raised one of your brows.

you both were again at the canteen but today it was just the two of you, sitting at the corner bench, during the dinner.
you would be leaving for the retake of wall maria tomorrow evening, which was in a way a scary feeling.

"shut up, you were literally in the Captain's room." he chewed on the food while trying to smugly smile at you.

"without the captain." he continued with a loud chuckle at the end, making your face heat up. you kicked him from where you were sitting causing him to laugh louder.

you stayed silent because you literally didn't had anything in your defense.
yes you woke up in an unknown room, which wasn't yours, next to no one.

the mattress was much softer and comfortable than the one you usually slept on, more of a reason for not wanting to open your eyes and fall into deeper slumber but the terror of your instructor, Keith Shadis swaned into you, making you open your eyes, traumatized that he might punish you once again if you were late to the training. once opening your eyes, you wanted to just sprint out of the bed to the showers, but then your consciousness hit you making you realise that you were no longer a trainee but a official scout member.

you took in a breathe in relief that you would not have to go through the trauma of getting stomped on by Keith Shadis but again the relief turned into terror when you realised the ceiling above wasn't familiar. it was much further than it usually used to be since you slept in the upper bunk and the colour wasn't the usual white, it was different, much sophisticated one.

you gasped when you realized you were in a foreign room which obviously wasn't yours, making you pull your legs closer to yours causing the sheets and blanket to wrinkle up too.

what the fuck!?

where am I!?

you peeked through the blanket to see if you had your clothes on or you did some unimaginable things with whoever the person was. your breath steadied finding clothes on your body perfectly where they should be.

you steadily looked to your right, no one on the right side, and did the same to the left, again finding no one. a rush of relief went through, atleast you weren't on a bed with someone. but again terror shoot through your body. of there's no one in the room then where the fuck is the owner!?

you lifted yourself up and just when you sat on, the room's door flunged open and out of reflex you pushed yourself under the blanket and closed your eyes shut, as if the intruder was about to throw daggers at you. and an incredible idea that the thin sheet of cloth would actually save you from some.

"what the fuck happened!?" you heard someone's voice, no not just someone, you knew the person.

why the fuck, my brain has to stop at such a crucial moment!?

"what happened?" the voice went through your ears again, this time much softer and closer. and this time, your brain registered the voice. Levi, it was Levi.

you peeked through your blanket, so only your eyes could be seen, and made eye contact with his grey ones who were looking at you in confusion.

"why are you hiding like a bug?"
he raised his brows, asking you the obvious, making you scrunch your nose at the word bug.
