"I'll take you to your house !" David exclaimed

"Just stop here David I'll go from here ! Thanks !" Ryan replied as he got off David's car without even giving another look back at the man Ryan ran into one of the many roads

"Oh " David choked out as he found himself turning his car towards the road in which Ryan just ran into

Meanwhile Ryan ran to his house hearing the words "it's an emergency come quick" doesn't sit right with him especially when he knows it's only his mother and younger sister in the house

Quickly rushing into the house seeing his 6 year old sister sitting in the living room Coloring away he haved a sigh of relief

"Steph what happened where's mom ?" Ryan said still catching his breath

Stephanie or Steph just shrugged pointing towards their parents room

"MOM !" Ryan exclaimed

"Oh you're here ! You're faster than I thought " his mother laughed making him roll his eyes

She was in her scrubs ready to go to work

"You took an extra shift ? Mom ? Why? don't you work enough already ?" Ryan said slumping down

They're a simple middle class family In his house it was himself his little sister Stephanie , and his parents , both his parents super hard working .

His father works as an electromechanical assemblers in a tech company as fancy as the name sounds it's really not the most high paying jobs out there .. till they only had Ryan everything seemed fine but a second child isn't inexpensive especially when one of them had to get shipped off to an expensive school because of his behaviour

Hence his mother also started working to try and ease the pressure unfortunate for her the only shifts she could get were that of night shifts and she takes up any free shifts available to get any extra cash

They absolutely love and adore their children but because of the busy schedule it sometimes feels like they are hardly ever there

"Wait ! This was your emergency ? Mom you've gotta be kidding me " Ryan groaned remembering the panic he faced a few minutes ago

"What I wanted you to come fast I can't leave Steph alone now can I ?" His mother replied making him sigh and nod

"Alright whatever " he sighed

"Alright I'm heading out now kay be good !" His mother said grabbing her stuff

"Rai Rai ! Lift me up !!" Suddenly Stephanie said jumping onto Ryan's back making him chuckle

"Ahah alright alright let go say by to mum kay !" Ryan laughed bending a little to give the small girl a good angle to get on top

Stephanie giggled as she wrapped her small hands around her brother looking over his shoulder

"Bye Mumma !" She exclaimed

"Bye baby !" Their mother replied blowing a flying kiss as she walked away

Both the siblings were about to head back in

"Ryan !"

"D-David ? What are you doing here ?" Ryan stuttered

"Who is that ?" Stephanie asked from the back

"He's uh he's a friend kiddo why don't you go in first " Ryan said putting his sister down

She just nodded before making her way in the house

"What are you doing here David ?"Ryan asked
