We got into her car and headed for the fair grounds where the event would be held, which was about an hour and a half drive.
We got out of the car and a wave of fear washed over me. There was people everywhere. Everywhere you looked, there was half naked girls and shirtless guys. Vendors sold alcohol and band merchandise. Then I noticed, I was frozen in place.
"Stella, come on! Just trust me this will be SOOOOO fun, just enjoy yourself." Chad said, snapping me out of my paralys.
"O-Okay.." I stuttered in fright. "Who's first then?" I asked.
A smile crept to her face. "Sleeping With Sirens." She answered.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS UP, SAN DIEGO!?" A man with long black hair yelled into a microphone. He had a big, upside down 'A' on his shirt, Everybody around me raised their arms in the air and screamed.
Some nearby girls started screaming loudly, "KELLIN I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" So that must be Kellin.. I thought.
Two songs in, and I felt so out of place. Me and Chad were positioned right at the front of the stage. Everyone was singing every word of the songs and I just stood there nervously looking at Chad to make sure I don't lose her in this sea of people.
"If you've ever felt neglected. If you ever felt your mom or dad was not there to see you fucking grow to your potential, then you do something different with your kids. This song is called A Trophy Fathers Trophy Son." The lead singer said into the microphone between breaths, I knew the song obviously meant a lot to him, he was obviously emotional about it.
Father, father, tell me where have you been!?" Kellin sang into the microphone, everyone around me had their hands in the air and sang. "Its been hell not having you here! I've been missing you so bad! And you don't seem to care! When I go to sleep at night, you're not there! When I go to sleep at night, do you care!?" Everyone sang, and I found myself with one hand in the air, sharing a moment with these people. My parents weren't there for me after my sister committed suicide, and I was always left on my own, my only retreat was Chad's house.
"Do you even miss us? Your bottles your mistress. I need to know. I need to know! Why are you walking away? Was it something I did? Did I make a mistake? Cause I'm trying to deal with the pain. I don't understand this! Is this how it ends?! I will try to understand..."
"Father! Father! Tell me where are you now? Its been hell not having you. Last thing I heard, you were fed up, you're skipping town! With no note telling where! When I go to sleep at night, you're not there! When I go to sleep at night, do you care?"
The song played and everyone continued to sing.
"Is this what you call a family? Is this what you call a family? Is this what you call a family? Is this what you call a family!!!!!!!!!" The singer screamed, and instantly, the band started playing heavier, and the whole crowd started to mosh, and head bang. I didn't know what was happening, I was pushed and shoved and elbowed and punched. I found myself all the way to the left of the stage, and Chad wasn't anywhere in sight.
I was in the middle of the trail heading to various stages, vendors, food courts, and more. I could see the stage I used to be but everything looked so blurry... so distorted... no.. this could not be happening... Not here.. not now! I thought to myself. I was dizzy, I looked up at the hot sun. Chad had to of noticed I was gone, she has to be around here somewhere. I looked around and all I saw was people scattered everywhere..
Then, I blacked out.

I have to tell you that in about chapter 8, my friend wanted the role of Stellas' best friend, so I went back and changed all the names to Chad but it used to be Hanna, so if anywhere from here to about chapter 8 you see "Hanna" Its because I missed one.
