~Jaime's POV~
"What is he's not there, what if he took her somewhere else? I don't know, what if there's more then him?" Charlie said nervously, sweeping a stray blue hair from her face.
"I'll be fine, don't worry." I thought about probably how much Stella was freaking out as Vic said goodbye.
Tony found where this creep is keeping Chad, and we were going to get her.
She had a hurt expression on her face after I said that.
I hugged her tight and put my chin on her head as she sighed into my chest, "I'll come back."
"Come on guys, we've gotta go!" Tony said, barging into the kitchen, he was holding a baseball bat. "Wanna use it?" motioning the bat towards me.
"Don't mind if I do," I said, laughing and taking the bat. "What's the plan here?" I said, looking back at Charlie as me and the rest of the guys walked out the front door to the garage.
"Get there, Mike will knock on the door then find a way in there then we'll all come in when he leaves the front door open, hopefully. When we get in there, Mike and Jaime will keep him either knocked out or held away while me and Vic look for Chad." Tony said.
The whole car ride Tony sat by the window with a look of pure wrath.
"Tony," Mike turned in the passenger seat. "We're a block away from the house, I'm gonna get out now." I watched Tony's fists clench.
Mike and me opened our doors and Vic turned towards us from the drivers seat. "Be careful."
"Are you kidding me?" Mike said, crouching down, mocking Vic's height before smiling and walking off towards the house.
"Bye" I gave Vic a reasurring smile and walking off with Mike. "Are you nervous?" I asked Mike after we got out of sight of the car.
"I'm just glad I was the one who gets to lay hands on him."
We got to the house, and I hid out of sight and called Vic to tell him we were in so Tony and him could drive the car over to the house and find Chad.
I heard Mike ring the doorbell.
It was quiet, but I could hear him, along with my heart pounding wildly against my chest.
"..Yeah?" I heard an unfamiliar voice.
"Hey man, it's so hot out here, do you mind if I talk to you inside?" Mike asked with spot-on acting.
"Yeah, sure man." He replied friendly.
"He's in, come on!" I whispered over the phone to Vic eagerly, as I gripped the bat in one hand and put my phone away.
I walked up the stairs of the worn down house and opened the open front door, as I expected.
Mike was holding the guy down on the coffee table by the collar of his shirt, punching him repeatively in the mouth until he was senseless.
"The fuck? Why did I even bring the bat?!" I asked.
Vic and Tony pulled up and ran in.
"Thanks, man." Tony said quickly to Mike, seeing the guy, unconcious on the coffee table. "Vic, upstairs." He said.
Vic ran up the stairs, "Chad!" He yelled.
~Chad's POV~
I had been thinking for a long time and I decided,
If I didn't kill him, he would eventually kill me.
This has been my thirteenth hour without food or water, I was quite weak.
I don't care if it took me weeks to carve a bed spring into a dull blade, or a chair leg into a pointed spear, I needed a way.
It was simpler then I expected, there was a lamp in the corner, complete with a lightbulb.
I even put some humor into it, I was a master assassin; even though all I really did was tap a light bulb against a concrete wall until it cracked into a small shard of very fragile glass.
I only had one shot at this, one chance or else the piece would break and I wouldn't be able to use anything, and he was obviously stronger.
Now all I had to do was wait.
I crouched in the corner next to the door, and waited for him to come an visit.
An hour of crouching, and waiting, I finally heard a door open, and a beam of light through the window of the steel door.
My heart pounded faster, and I knew this was my only chance.
The door opened, and I dizzily got up and tried to slice my hand at where his neck should be,
But his hands caught me by both of my wrists.
