Ch. 7 "Thirsty"

                                            Kylie POV 

Loki took me back to the lab, my breathing was labored and shallow, sweat covered my body, it looked as if someone dumped a bucket of water over me, 

My hair was even wet, it clung to my skin, 

"What is wrong with her," Loki said in a panic as I sat on the table, 

"Will figure it out, but you need to wait outside," Tony said 

"I most certainly will not," Loki said 

"Please brother listen to them," A man with shoulder length blonde hair said 

Brother? I thought 

Loki hesitated, his blue eyes, looking right into mine, 

I smiled as best as I could, but I just felt so tired, 

As soon as Loki left, everything went black, 

                                     Loki POV 

We waited and waited, 

At first I was sitting down, then I was trying to look inside the room, then I was pacing back and forth, 

I have never been this much of a wreck, what has come over me, am I coming down with a human cold, I thought 

Suddenly the doors open, 

"You can come in now," Bruce said 

I walk in to see Kylie hooked up too all sorts of wires, and IV, a mask over her face, 

"Did you find out what is the cause of this is?" I said 

"Yeah, well due to the power she possesses, her metabolism is in over drive," Tony said 

"I do not understand overdrive?" Thor said 

Bruce nodded, 

"Her body is burning more than she's consuming," Bruce said 

I arched my brow, 

"She's hungry and thirsty," Tony said summing it up, 

"So give her a twinky, humans eat twinky's right?" Thor said 

"She needs more than that pal," Tony said 

"So what do you suggest?" I said 

"Well first were going to rehydrate her, then were going to fashion a new diet due to this," Tony said 

"Diet? the human child is not fat," Thor said 

"Quiet brother," I said getting annoyed, 

"So let's talk," Tony said as Bruce was replacing the third bag, 

                                          Kylie POV 

My eyelids slowly flutter open, and I'm staring at the ceiling, 

I slowly turn my head to the side, seeing Loki in a chair looking down at his hands with a scowl, 

"Loki?" I asked 

He looked at me, smiling

"Welcome back Little Firefly," He said 

"What happened?" I asked, 

He pointed to the bags dangling from a pole, there were about Ten of them, 

"I guess you were thirsty," He said 

"Whoa," I mumbled 

"Yeah, I would say whoa," Tony said walking in, 

Tony stood next to the bed, 

"So miss combustion mind sharing with us why HYDRA wants you alive and what they want with you?" Tony said 

Oh boy, I thought looking at the serious expression on not only his face but Loki's as well,
