Ch. 8 "Show me"

                                       Kylie POV 

I sat on the edge of the bed, 

"I can't really say..." I said as I played with my fingers, 

"Then allow me to see," Loki said kneeling in front of me, 

I hesitated, he smiled at me gently and I nodded, 

I pressed my forehead to his, and closed my eyes, 

See I know of Loki's powers because he told me of them, and showed me a time or two, so I cleared my mind, allowing him to see what happened the night he found me, the night I escaped, 

I showed him everything, from the latest memories I had inside of a chamber filled with liquid and an oxygen mask over my face allowing me to breathe, as I had all sorts of tubes in my skin, 

To all the series of shots, 

To being stuck in a scary cell, listening to the scary people in goggles and lab coats talk, talk about my condition and how the series of shots were called project Phoenix, 

I showed him the night I escaped, the guard forgot to lock my cell, I over hear them talking, 

"Boss said if this shot shows no results were to get rid of her," I hear one guard

"How do we even know the blood we gather from the attack on New York is even going to work? it could be the blood not the kid," Another said 

"Don't question him, he enhanced the blood into a formula he knows what he's doing " The other said 

The voices as clear as they were that day,

When I heard they were far enough away I pushed at the bars and with that I made my escaped, 

I showed him what happened with my power finally emerging, to burning the HYDRA agents that tried to hurt me, to when I first met Loki

Loki looked at me stunned, 

"I didn't mean to hurt anyone," I said looking at him sadly, 

"It is alright firefly I do not blame you," He said tucking some hair behind my ear, 

                                          Loki POV 

"Miss Maximoff here is going to keep you company while I speak to these gentlemen alright Firefly," I said smiling at her, 

She nodded, 

We walked fare enough down the hall I know she wouldn't hear us, 

"So what is it?" Rogers asked 

"I think she was created by HYDRA, I seen a chamber, they were talking about blood from my attack, so it could have came from any one of us," I said 

Stark and Banner exchange looks, 

"What else?" Brother said 

"Her power just emerged when I found her that night," I said 

They looked shocked, 

"Now the question is what were they trying to do?" Banner said 

"We need to get a sample of her blood," Banner said 

"Were still working on a needle that can resist her intense heat," Stark said 

"Now what?" Rogers said 

"We just continue, keep investigating, and reindeer games watches over her," Stark said 

Everyone nodded, 

Surprisingly I nodded also, 

My question is who's blood did they use, I thought as I entered the lab, and she smiled when I walked in the room and I smiled back at her,
