I shifted my position which made me almost drop my phone.
I caught it.
I sighed, there was a panic button at that moment. That could've been the worst.
My phone started a dialing sound,
Hah?! Wait--
"hello?" the voice from the other side of the phone said. My eyes widen, could it be??-- i stared and my phone, the contact name is 'Sassy number neighbor'
"H-Hi" my voice cracked, all of your social skills disappeared for a second
"why did you call?" he asked, i was still stunned because of embarassment. My cheeks started to heat up.
"why did you answer?" i asked, that's a stupid question but it's unexpected for him to answer, That's like the 2nd most impossible thing to ever happen.
"huh? Because you called? Duh?" he chuckled, i gasped. I was hearing his voice for the first time. Yes it's over a phone but still,
"so i-uhm i'll hang up now." i said nervously.
"already?" he asked. Hueh?!
"huh?" i was a bit lost, i'll admit.
"what do you mean huh? It's simple, i want to hear your voice." i hid my face in my hoodie,
"okay then..." i quietly said,
"where did your boldness go?" he chuckled, him chuckling is making me go 'badump' lmao.
"i mean, 'okay then creepy guy who want to hear what i sound like and a simp'" i emphasized the word 'simp'
"me? A simp? Nah" he denied,
"don't need to be shy about it sweetie." i joked.
"okay then sweetie" i said nothing, i opened my mouth but no words came out. "what happend sweetie you alright?" he grinned.
"ofcourse i am!" i replied.
"okay then, i gotta go talk to you later." he said and hanged up.
