"So what's the plan for today Sherlock?" Caroline's voice echoed through the phone as I got ready for school.

After going through heaps of clothes, I had finally settled for a light blue dress.

"See, it's really simple. You just have to steal Aiden's stuff during theatre and leave the rest to me," I said as I straightened my hair.

"What do you mean by steal?" Caroline asked.

"I mean....you take something that belongs to him...and hide it. You can return it later if you want to," I laughed.

"And then?"

"I can't tell you everything over the phone. Meet you at school. Bye."

"Fine."

Spanish class was surprisingly easy that day. I was eagerly waiting for History so that I could go on with my plan of annoying Aiden.

I took the seat behind him. The class had just started when Aiden started to shuffle through his stuff with great vigour. It took me no time to realise that Caroline had hidden all his pens and even his pencil case, if he had one.

I chuckled under my breathe. He turned towards me and asked, "Do you have a pen?"

"I'm taking notes right now, and taking notes requires a pen. So yes, I do have a pen," I replied with a straight face.

"Do you have another pen with which I could write?" He asked. I could sense the annoyance in his voice now.

"I don't carry stationery for the whole school. But there's a charity store right outside. That might help you with a few pens, or even pencils."

"Okay?? What's with the attitude. If you don't have a pen, just say it. I-"

"Can you both enlighten me on the interesting conversation that's going on here?" Mr. Thomas interrupted him, "it's a strict rule to not talk in my class. Detention after school, both of you," he said angrily.

"Are you kidding me," I muttered and looked over to Caroline who was laughing at my somewhat unsuccessful plan.

We took the farthest seats to each other in the detention room. Dylan was also there for some reason. He raised his brow, smiling at me.

"So, have any of you been to my detention before?" Mr. Thomas asked, leaning on his desk.

"I have," Dylan raised his hand.

"Ofcourse, you have. Now would you like to tell them what happens here, Dylan."

"He makes us talk to each other," Dylan sulked.

"No!!" I almost screamed.

"Considering that's what you were doing in my class, it should be really easy for you, Miss Mikaelson," he said.

"He was the one talking, I just answered back," I pointed towards Aiden.

"That's how a conversation works, darling," Dylan said.

"Ughh!! Fine." I said "why are you here?" I asked Dylan.

"I didn't do my homework."

"And why didn't you do that?"

"One question at a time, crazy pants," Dylan broke me off.

"Okay, now my turn," He said ,"to the mysterious-new-guy. What is the actual reason for you to take up theatre?"

"What do you mean?" Aiden responded.

"I mean.... You're one of the most unexpressive people I've ever met in my life. So, why theatre?"

I couldn't help but laugh. I swear I also heard Mr. Thomas' muffled laughter.

"I like theatre, and in case you haven't noticed, I'm actually good at acting. Better than you, atleast," Aiden concluded.

"Woah... woah....calm down buddy," Dylan said.

"Burn...." I mumbled.

"Now your turn, Brooks," Mr. Thomas said.

Aiden turned towards me. "Why do you have such a salty attitude?"

"Excuse me?" I began, "you're saying that 'I' have a salty attitude when you're the reason why I practically ended up here."

"And the salty attitude returns," he mocked.

"Well maybe if you-"

"Enough bickering already," Mr. Thomas interrupted me, "I'm letting you go early today. Try not to end up here again. Now, get out."

"I'm taking your car," I said as I grabbed Dylan's car keys from the table and stormed out of the room.

"Buy a new one for yourself," I heard him yell.

My phone began to ring as soon as I reached home. It was Caroline and Liv on a conference call. I picked it up.

"You back from school or still stuck up in detention?" Liv asked.

"Aahh....just came back."

"I've heard Mr. Thomas' detentions aren't really bad. What really happens there?" Caroline asked.

"He made me talk to Aiden and Dylan. Needless to say, they drove me mad, and I lost my temper."

"Really? Talking to each other is supposed to be a punishment?" Liv laughed.

"It can be when you're stuck up with two idiots," I said.

"Heyyyy...." Caroline wailed.

"Oh I'm sorry! I forgot that I'm not allowed to speak the truth about my cousin when I'm with his girlfriend," I said, and we all laughed.
