Hi everyone! Before I move on to the first chapter, I just wanted to give a little heads up / writer's note / whatever you call that thing that writers write before they write their story.

So most of you reading this would have realised by now that this book is gonna be a little bit unnatural, messed up and different. People may call it incest (Idk why) and people may call it weird. Some may even name it as inappropriate and 'not right'.

But we all have to understand that not all families are the same. Neither are any families perfect. There's always going to be problems. There could actually be people among us in the same situation as this.

I wrote this book, not only because of the crazy storyline I came up with at 3AM or the song that got me hooked on Tik Tok, but because I wanted to capture a different kind of plot.

I felt like generalising a storyline and character development on either a perfect, happy family or a totally messed up family was just too stereotypical. Some people could have the most perfectly imperfect life, and that's totally fine too!

Taking examples from other books, would be our typical 'step brother - step sister relationship' or 'step father - step son relationship' - Yes that's incest and illegal acording to law. But if they're in love, they're in love. Feelings aren't something you can just turn off and on like a button, and people need to understand and respect that. Let others live their own life and worry about ur own.

Anyway, I didn't write this to attack ya'll don't worry - it's just a precaution to shield myself from some Karens that decide to rail this book once I start writing it lmaooo

I don't know why I'm expecting some biatch to report it or something bc it was 'inappropriate'

I hope you guys like this book as much as I do. It's a sweet, salty, spicy ride - But dw, I gotchur water and tissues. And if anybody needs it, I'll give you a hug too
