CHAPTER 5

Beomgyu: YAYA!!! ARE YOU OKAY?!
me: yeah..
Soobin: Gyu, go to the med room and get the ointment
Beomgyu: going right now

he ran off. Soobin sat me in the toilet and wet a towel. He wipes the blood off my back first then proceeds to my head. It stings soo much and I bet Soobin knows tho I don't show any sign of pain

Soobin: can you endure it? I'm almost done, I'll do it softer this time
Me: if you do it any softer you won't be touching my head anymore... Its already so soft
Soobin: I'm afraid it'll hurt
Me: I don't really care.. Just do it

Beomgyu comes back with the medication

Beomgyu: here

he holds my hand as Soobin puts the medicine. The gashes on my back are my weak spot. They're literally unbearable. I was hugging Beomgyu and biting on my tongue real hard while Soobin dabs the medication on my back. He then applies a bandage on the wound.

Soobin: done
Me: thanks
Soobin: anytime

Kai, my bodyguard, comes into the room. He kneels down and cups my face.

Kai: Yaya, are you alright?
Me: I'm fine
Kai: oh my poor girl... I told you three not to go far didn't I?
Me: it wasn't that far
Kai: you ran like 700m out from the castle area and 1 400m if you were in Kim building
Me: I was...
Kai: sigh... Mr. Choi asked me pack all your stuff
Me: I'm going now don't worry

-Chan's POV-

Seungmin: Chan!
Me: yeah?

I went to his office

Me: you needed something?
Seungmin: Mr. Choi replied so quickly
Me: wait really?!
Seungmin: she really must be daddy's little girl for a father to reply this quick
Me: chuckle no kidding

Seungmin opens the letter. His expression turns to confusion

Me: why? What's wrong?
Seungmin: he... He said.... Yes....

I looked at him shocked and confused.

Me: he said... Yes?
Seungmin: yeah.... He also asked if she could come right now and that I should quickly get her out of his sight...
Me: ......
Seungmin: she must've done something really bad...
Me: her back....
Seungmin: what?
Me: when I was changing her clothes... Her back... It was full of scars and deep gashes and she also mumbled something.. I couldn't really catch the words but I think it had kill, before and here
Seungmin: ....... Now we know who you really are Mr. Choi.... Chan, I need you to do me a favor... She's definitely not gonna open up to me so quickly so I want you to make her feel comfortable... Get rid of those traumatic memories... Make her feel home... Poor girl...

-Jaeya's POV-

I packed my stuff. Kai took them downstairs while I went to visit father since he called me again

Mr. Choi: this is an one time opportunity for us to be able to overthrow the Kims so stay in your place and make sure to do your duty for the Choi clan or else the next time I meet you, I will personally kill you myself and you know when I mean it
Me: .... yes father
Mr. Choi: now go.. I don't want to see you till I get a report on things. I want to know how the place works, the guarding system, the blueprints and everything else
Me: yes father

I leave the room and went downstairs to the lobby where Kai, Beomgyu and Soobin were waiting for me. I could see Hyuka peeking into the window

Kai: wear this

I went to change into a long sleeve, turtle neck shirt and wore another black t-shirt on the outside with my usual black skirt. I wore a pair of black converse ankle length sneakers. Soobin passed me his hoodie to wear.

Soobin: there will be more layer to cover your back

then he hugs me avoiding touching my back.

Soobin: I'm gonna miss you
Me: yeah.. Me too... Gonna be a while before I meet you again..
Soobin: whispers write me letters. Every morning at 4:30 meet me at the borders
