Soon enough, Christmas arrived and everyone was having fun at the party that was held in Bakugo's manor. Todoroki's gang members were all present except for Touya who decided to spend his time with his boyfriend
"Looks like Izuku is having fun with his kacchan" Shinso said and Todoroki hummed
"I'm gonna step out for a bit" he mumbled and went to the balcony. He took a sip of his wine as he leaned on the railings.
"Shoto, what are you doing here?" He looked behind and saw it was Midoriya
"Just getting some fresh air. You?" He asked
"I came to check up on you" Todoroki stared at the other who was busy admiring the moon. He looked ethereal as the moonlit hit him highlighting his freckles and all the small details about him
"You should go back inside, Midoriya. You look happier dancing with your kacchan" he said in a monotone voice
"Eh? Shoto?" He was confused. Todoroki called him 'Midoriya' and he sounded bored talking to him
"I'll head back inside if you want to stay here" he ignored Midoriya's pained expression and went back inside
"What did I do wrong?" He asked himself as he wiped his eyes before the tears could fall. He went back inside as well and distracted himself.
After the party was done, they went inside the car. Shoto was in the driver's seat while Midoriya was in the passenger seat. Ochako and Tenya were on the back eyeing the two. They noticed the tension and how silent they were. After they arrived in their mansion, the two instantly went to their room without exchanging their usual good night's
Morning came as the sun rose to the sky. They were all gathered at the table for breakfast and Touya was confused as hell
"What happened to you two?" He eyed the duo but none of them answered
"Explain" he looked at Tenya who gave him an 'I don't know either' look

"Shoto, explain" he entered his office and expected an explanation
"Nothing happened" he replied
"Are you sure? Then why the hell are you avoiding Izuku?" He asked
"I wasn't-"
"Drop the act, Shoto" he sternly said
"Last night, I saw him dancing in the crowded room. He looks so happy with his childhood friend. I believe he'd be happier with Bakugo than me" he sighed sadly
"How are you so sure that he loves Katsuki that way?"
"...."
"Why are you running away, Shoto?"
"I'm not... I'm just scared" he replied honestly
"Scared of what?"
"I'm scared of hurting him. I'm a mafia leader, Touya. I'm scared of bringing danger to his life. I don't want his face to be painted with tears and pain" he mumbled
"So, you admit that you love him?" He smirked
"Of course I love him. I love him so much. I love him more than my life" he admitted
"You hear that Izuku?" Touya raised his voice and smirked at his brother's confused face
"Y-yes" Midoriya entered with a flushed face
"I-izuku?" His cheeks reddened as he realized what his brother was doing
"You two have a talk now" he winked at Shoto and he flashed him a grin as he mouthed 'thank you' to him
When Touya left, the two were awkwardly standing and no words exchanged
"D-do you mean what you said? That you l-love me?" Midoriya slowly looked at the other
"Of course. I love you, Izuku" he declared once again and blushed furiously. He looked at Midoriya's flushed face
"So last night, you were jealous because of kacchan?" He giggled and he avoided his gaze
"Of course I was. I didn't like the way he was making you smile and laugh" he replied as he stared at the ground
"You can reject me now" he added
"Why would I reject someone I like?" Midoriya asked
"As I said, you can reject- wait what?" His attention snapped back at the laughing boy
"I love you too, Shoto" he smiled warmly and Todoroki was over the moon when he heard him say those words. They hugged each other as Shoto kissed his forehead.
"Sho-"
"Shoto"
"Shoto! Wake up!" His eyes instantly open and scanned his surroundings
"Touya?"
"You doze off while working and I'm here for an explanation. Why the hell are you avoiding Izuku?" He asked
"The hell? It was all a dream? Damn it" he mumbled and went out of the office ignoring his older brother
"I really thought we're together now" he cursed under his breathe and went inside his room to throw a tantrum
After throwing a tantrum, he went outside to get some food. On the way to the kitchen, he met Midoriya. He avoided him again but was stopped when he felt a tug on his sleeves
"Shoto, can we talk?" He asked quietly not making eye contact with him
"Sure" he replied as he decided to fix it today
They went inside Shoto's room and the duo sat on the mattress
"I'm sorry, Izuku" he started first
"I'm sorry as well, Shoto" he said
"You don't have anything to apologise for. It was all my fault that I got jealous when you were so happy with Bakugo" he instantly covered his mouth and regretted saying it
"Eh?"
"N-nothing" he looked outside the window
"Why we're you even jealous of Kacchan? It's not like you love me-" he stopped giggling and his eyes widen in realization. He looked at Shoto who was already looking at him with flushed cheeks
"Yes, Izuku. I'm jealous of Bakugo because I love you" he confessed
Midoriya blushed deeply and his mind short-circuited
"Don't worry, I'm not expecting an immediate answer. You can take your time and you can also reject me if you want" he smiled comfortingly
"But-" he was cut off with a pat on his head
"Don't rush, Izuku" he smiled again and went outside leaving Midoriya alone
