A thunder woke Midoriya and Todoroki was nowhere to be found beside him. He found it strange because the other usually slept in. He went out and searched for the other. He stopped outside his office when he heard two familiar voices. So, he decided to eavesdrop a bit
"So... Shoto, when are you gonna tell Midoriya?" Touya asked
"Tell him what?"
"You should stop the act now, Shoto. I know you don't love him"
"You know me well, Touya. Actually, I've grown tired of him. I guess I have to find a new toy again" Shoto laughed and his brother joined
Midoriya was shocked and saddened to hear it coming from his lover. He quickly left and went back to bed
After a few minutes, Todoroki went inside. He sat on the bed and faced Midoriya
"What's wrong? You look troubled?" shoto asked concerned or at least tried to act concerned
"It's nothing" he tried to dismiss it while faking a smile
"Tell me what's bothering you, Izuku" he almost cringed when he heard him call his name
"I overheard your conversation with your brother. Do you really mean all of that?" he asked on a verge of crying
"I guess there's no point in pretending huh?" he sighed and crossed his arms
"What?"
"I thought it was fun to toy with you but you no longer interest me" he stood up and gazed coldly at the latter
Tears were already streaming out of his eyes but he hurriedly wiped them off
"I see. Can you at least drive me to Kacchan's place?" He asked while looking down.
"Fine. Pack your stuff now. My brother found a new toy for me and they'll be arriving later" he replied and left
Midoriya packed his stuff while trying his best not to cry. Todoroki drove them to the said destination. They arrived shortly and saw a wet and angry Bakugo waiting outside the gate
Bakugo opened the car door and punched Todoroki
"You sick bastard! You don't deserve Izuku!" He was stopped by Shinso and Kirishima
While they were busy calming him down, Midoriya went to help Todoroki. They were now both soaked from the rain
"Todoroki-kun, why are you doing this?" He softly asked. Shoto yanked his arms and gazed at him coldly. Midoriya looked up with tears clouding his vision.
"I thought you loved me"
"I never loved you" he spat out. He went in his car and drove away
"Let's go inside, Izuku" the already calmed Bakugo escorted him inside while trying his best to comfort him
"This is your room. Just call me if you need anything okay?" He softly said as he pats the other's head
"Thanks, Kacchan" he went inside and arranged his stuff
"W-where did I go wrong? Was I not e-enough for him? Was I really just a t-toy?" He askes himself and covered his body with a blanket. He started crying again. He refused to believe that it was all a lie. He saw how Todoroki looked at him with love and admiration. He refused to believed that it was all just an act but what did he expect? He fell in love with a mafia boss. He should have known that Todoroki never loved him in the first place
