Ori and Ku went over the place they once called their homeland. Since Ori didn't remember it that well, he decided to take in what he could from the surrounding areas as they flew. The first things they saw were multiple, huge chunks of floating rock. Ice clusters seemed to form on the side of them, and huge gusts of wind seemed to surround the area they flew around. It was a little weird navigating through the area, but the both of them eventually passed and made their way inland.
Ori looked to his right, and saw a huge mountain in the distance, with a tiny bit of smoke floating out of it. Near that mountain seemed to be a bright orange monument, shining a warm light. He felt a small singe in his fur, but it didn't hurt. Ku also took notice of the mountain, but just shook her head as she flew closer to her destination.
Ori then noticed something that he marveled at. He saw a huge tree, bigger than any other tree he has ever seen, with small waterfalls pouring out the sides of it. Ku flew near one of the waterfalls, and Ori stuck out his hand, wanting to touch the water. As he reached out to his right side, Ku mischievously flew close enough to soak Ori in the water, and keep herself mostly dry.
"Argh!" Ori said, soaking wet. Ku just laughed at him. Ori, aggravated, took some of the water, and spread it all around Ku's body.
"Noooo!" Ku whined.
"That's what you get! Don't do that again, got it?"
"Got it. Sorry, it's been so long since we've even seen the Ginso Tree, let alone Nibel itself. I just wanted to... take it all in~." Ku smirked at Ori.
"You can take it all in... from a distance!"
As they kept bickering along the trip, they eventually found it. Ori gazed upon a familiar radiation, seeing a huge tree in the center of the forest. It was massive, with turquoise leaves all around its branches, with a few bright white leaves on the side, and a massive, glowing blue orb sitting on the mantle in the center of the tree. Ori found himself almost entranced by the shine the tree gave off, before snapping out of it.
"So... is that the Spirit Tree?" Ori asked.
"Yes, it is. It's very similar to Seir, but she's a lot more nice. Her name, I remember you telling me, was Sein."
Sein? You mean the same Sein that Seir mentioned that revived me? That Sein? "Well, then that's where I'll go once we land. But, where are we going exactly?"
"We're going home."
Eventually, Ku slowly descended from the sky, and landed on the light green grass. She looked around the land, seeing how it hasn't changed much since they left. The trees still stood tall, the sunlight shined through, the flowers bloomed, and the critters around still fled at her presence. It seems they didn't forget who ate them before she left. Ori got off of Ku, and stretched his body, as well as shaking off all the water that got poured on him. Ku did the same, with her wings kinda soaked, and shaking off the water from her back and sides.
"Ori, this is Nibel." Ku announced.
Honestly... Niwen looks better. "It's very pretty, and enchanting. But, exactly where did we land?"
"We landed in the place known as the Sunken Glades, where we made our home." Ku explained. "Although we called this place the Swallow's Nest, it's basically the same thing to the Sunken Glades. It's close enough to the Spirit Tree, as well as close enough to every harvest spot in the entire forest. We got all sorts of food here when we still lived here. Honestly, you should have just left your food back at home. In Naru's opinion, Nibel definitely has better food than Niwen does, although I can't confirm it."
"Hmm..." Ori looked up towards a small tree, harboring multiple apples on its branches. He quickly climbed the tree, and detached one of the apples hanging beneath it. Ori, curious as to what made the food so good, took a bite into the apple.
