Mmm...

...

What...?

What is...?

He could feel his body shift unnaturally, as if being pushed around by something. He slowly opened his eyes, only seeing a deep blue all around him. He feels the cold air around him, not feeling any other sensati-

*drip*

He stopped waving his hand in the air, as he felt a small drop of water touch his beige colored hand. My... my hand... it still looks like my other form? He slowly picked himself off of the weirdly textured surface he laid upon. It felt like grass, but it looked... red, pink even. Regardless, he had to know what was happen-

ORI!!

He instantly remembered what happened to him. Ori grabbed his body in his hands, and in anger and sadness, threw him to the other side of the shrine where Sein was. Then... nothing? So... did I die? Is this the afterlife? He rubbed his head, not just in confusion, but also in slight pain, feeling his head begin to throb in a headache.

Soon, with a bright flash of light, the scenery turned into a vibrant, beautiful day. The sky is light blue, with a bright sun sitting at its peak. He could notice a few waterfalls that circled around the land he stood on, which he could now see to be an island of sorts. As he turned around to examine, something caught his eye.

A... Spirit Tree?

Its bark was white, with minimal scratches on it. Its leaves grew a bright pinkish color as they fluttered in the wind, with illuminating petals hanging on the ends of some of its branches. In the center, he could see a very bright, pinkish-red ball, radiating similarly to the perches of the Spirit Tree, and the Spirit Willow. No one was around him, it seemed. It was just him, and the unknown presence who remained in the tree.

All Spirit Trees have been able to talk to others... so... "Umm... h-hello? Is s-someone there?"

Child...? It's voice was very light, and feminine in tone, sounding like a mother would. It still had that whisper of light like the Spirit Tree and Seir had. Ahh... So, you are the one who awakened them...

Awakened? Awakened who? "Umm... What are you talking about? Who are you? Where am I?" He asked.

She laughed softly. I am the one they call Seav, one of the first Spirit Trees to have been created. There hasn't been a person here for quite a long time. It's refreshing to see a very unique face, let alone a face at all. Right now, you stand in a replica of what once was called... Norin.

Ok, what's with all the "N" names for these places? "Norin...? And... this is the Spirit Tree...?"

Spirit Blossom, if you will. Anyway... the red orb floated down from its perch within the Spirit Blossom, and came to face him. Suddenly, the orb turned into a bright mass of light, and transformed into a Spirit. It was a white creature, with a dim red aura surrounding them, still harboring a similar appearance to most spirits, with some differences. It had small tipped ears, little claws on its paws, a thick but short tail, a small tuft of fur on their forehead, and... some weird rod that seemingly came attached to her back. It seems you have taken control of one of my kin.

"What... what do you mean?" He sat down in the red grass to get on the same eye level with them.

Your soul seems to have been placed in the remnants of one of my spirits. Thus, being the only living thing remaining inside, you have taken control of them, and resurrected them from their slumber.
