When it's all over you will see it was never random ...Beacon hills was a far cry from the city of LA but where ever the job takes us I guess. My mom got a new job at the hospital it pays better than the last one she said so now we're in a small Uhaul with everything we have and leaving everything we know god I hate this. And I hate that I know it isn't the job that's bringing us here.

" Luna get up or you'll be late "
My mom said as I heard the door close and her car start as I sat up the sound of the engine moved and soon out of earshot
" I guess I'll find it "
My legs felt like a hundred pounds from moving everything in over the weekend. I put on black pants and a lavender tank top and black boots and my dirty blond hair with light streaks ,due to sun bleaching, in a pulled back style with some star pins holding it all in place. I moved a piece of hair to cover the scar on my neck
" perfect "
I reassured myself swinging my bag over my shoulder and started the new path to school. I was walking quietly reciting my schedule to myself as others had there's memorized because schools been in session for a few months. I had my eyes fixed on the small number plates on the walls to the point that everyone's face looked like a painting that got smudged
" 107 ... 109 ... 110 "
I smiled that I found the class. I did this for every class then lunch rolled around I grabbed my tray and went to pay with the plastic card that my mom should have loaded money on just for lunch
" 3.50 "
" didn't it work "
" no "
The woman looked annoyed. I dug in my pocket hoping that I had money that went through the wash still stuck in one of them. Three ok I just need 50 cents I thought to myself as I moved my bag to rummage for change
" 47 ... 48 ... 49 really "
I looked at her
" you wouldn't have a penny would you "
Just a blank stare
" ok umm "
She reached past me to the person behind me then looked at me and gestured for me to move so I did. I found my way outside and sat on the ground alone.
