Clarke had been basically living inside her studio the past few days, an important exhibition was coming up in a few days and she had not painted a single work that she considered good enough to be exposed. Echo was the one who made this dream come true and Clarke didn't want to disappoint her but she only had two more days.

Her phone was turned off and the only one who could come and disturb was obviously Echo who was also her boss considering the situation. They were supposed to meet right there at the studio in a few hours to discuss the last things and sign a collaborative contract, Clarke was going to work under Echo and she was really excited about it because her friend had lots of contacts with other artists and it would give Clarke a chance to show her paintings to a bigger audience.

Suddenly she heard the door open and gave a confused look at the clock. It's too soon there's no way that's Echo; she thought. The sound of footsteps coming her way made her realize that the person was someone who had already been there, they knew where to go to get to Clarke's inspirational spot in the studio. Sure it wasn't a huge place but it had a few rooms and with all the mess that she always left around it wasn't that easy to find her.

The footsteps stopped and right after a voice broke through the silence "Am I disturbing?" Clarke sighed in relief and realized she had been holding her breath for a while now, the blonde turned around and when her eyes met the costumer's one she smiled "Not at all, but I have to keep working so please take a seat and tell me what's wrong".

"Nothing's wrong, just wanted to see you I guess" Clarke giggled and got up from where she was to take another brush "Well let's be honest, I'm awesome so I get that" she winked at the girl and then turned her attention back to the canva that was laying on the floor.

"Are you preparing your works for Echo's exhibition?" Clarke nodded and moved to let her see better what she was working on "You like it?" "That's amazing Clarke! Can I take a picture?" "Sure go ahead, but I don't wanna be in it so let me move away" the girl pouted "Cmon stay still, we have to show the people who's the great artist who made it" "But I look ugly covered in paint" Clarke got up trying to move further away but the other girl gently grabbed her wrist to stop her "Let me take the picture please?" "Don't give me the puppy eyes, it's not gonna work" the girl's face changed in a sly smirk and she started tickling Clarke "N-noh help help!... Let me- let gooo... L-Lexa stop..." the brunette kept tickling her, they were now both on the floor "Let me take a picture of you and your painting then" "O-kay, fine you won" Lexa stopped.

"Thank you" she gave Clarke a proud smile but none of them moved, their eyes met and in both of the girls' mind something clicked. They knew what was going to happen if they didn't got up; they felt that connection they thought they had lost, that feeling of being drawn towards the other, the incapacity to look away from the other's eyes. Everything reminded them of their first and only night together, the butterflies in their stomachs when the other touched a sensitive spot, the feel of the other's lips on their body and the need to have more. Just like a year before they were craving those feelings, but this time not a single lie helped building that connection.

The realization slowly came in Lexa's mind. It wasn't all a lie what happened last year, there was some truth in their relationship, almost everything was the truth. She blinked, once, twice, trying to regain the control over her own body and in those beautiful blue eyes that she had missed so much she saw the last thing that she would have ever expected.
