"Where is Miss Allen anyway" Slughorn asked and right before Theo was going to answer,  Mila burst through the door

"I was ill" she said quickly and when Slughorn nodded she smiled, feeling proud of her quick lie. As she looked around, she was confused to why everyone had changed seats.

"We've changed partners and you will now be with Mr Nott," he explained and Mila nodded,

She walked over to Theo and plopped down next to him.

"Today we will be brewing Amortentia..." He said and then Mila spaced out

Ooo I wonder what I'll smell  she thought, maybe I'll smell a person or a place or a...

Her thought process was interrupted by Theodore Nott tapping on her shoulder softly. "What?" she asked

"He just asked you a question" he said and instantly she gave full attention to the Professor in front of her

"Uh can you repeat that please"

"I asked you what Amortentia is" he said unamused, she panicked. Usually she sat next to Draco and she'd just copy him but this time she was all alone.

What no one knew is that Theo is actually very smart, he just doesn't put effort into anything

"Uh it's a potion...that we are going to make...and uhh you smell the things you like and...uh yeh that's it" she rambled and the Processor shook his head.

"Do you think a detention will make you pay attention Miss Allen"

"No no I know the answer I was just playing around" she poorly defended

She looked over at Draco and he was mouthing the answer but she couldn't understand him

Theo leant into her neck and whispered into her ear, "It's the most powerful love potion in the world. Amortentia smells different to each person, depending on what attracts them. "

She repeated his words and Slughorn nodded and carried on. He told them to brew the potion and whoever did it the best would get to skip the next potions lesson.

Theo walked away to get the necessary ingredients and the cauldron whilst Mila rubbed her forehead.

When Theo returned Mila engulfed him in a big hug.

Then she remembered what happened the last time she hugged him and she quickly backed away.

"Oh merlin I'm sorry about that I'm just so thankful that you-" she stopped when she realised that Theo had pulled her back into the hug

Then she felt a funny feeling in her stomach.  Did she just get butterflies? But why?

The entire time Brooke and Draco were watching them

Brooke was certain that Theo likes Mila but now she was debating whether Mila reciprocated his feelings

Draco was just proud of his friend for finally doing something right

"Oh uh sorry" Theo mumbled as he finally backed away from the hug, "Oh no problem I actually enjoyed that" Mila smiled as Theo blushed

Why did he blush?  She wondered, not realising that she too was blushing

Is she blushing because of me?  Theo thought

"After you guys finish your potion you will also need to work with your partner to create a review of how your potion brewing went and what you smelt" The professor announced making the whole class groan.

Mila wanted to help him brew the Amortentia but she knew that she'd just mess it up so she did nothing

After a little whileTheo was done so he called Slughorn over, "Well it looks lovely, you two smell it and then jot down everything you smell"

Theo looked over at Mila then smiled, he hovered over their freshly brewed Amortentia and inhaled deeply.

Vanilla, new books and a kind of chocolaty smell??

He was unsure of what the last scent was but he was sure that he smelt Mila

"Your turn Allen" Theo said as he held her waist and shuffled her in front of the cauldron

Then she felt that funny feeling again.

She took a big whiff of the potion and then stared into the air in confusion,

Flowers, Ink and Lemon.

At first she thought she was smelling the flowers her and Narcissa used to plant in the Malfoy Manor garden when she was younger but after a couple more sniffs she realised that she was smelling dandelions not roses.

"What'd ya smell?" Theo asked as he leaned on the table facing her, "Ink and-" she began but stopped when Pansy Parkinson came running over.

"Hey Theo I smelt Ink, lemons and some flower and I saw you drawing earlier and you ate a lemon tart at breakfast so I think I smelt you" Pansy said as she batted her eyelashes flirtatiously.

Mila's eyes widened.

She had smelt the same thing as Pansy and Pansy smelt Theo which means that...

She likes Theo
