Logan's POV

I was awoken by a loud air horn.

"Jesus Christ," I muttered as I landed on the ground with a big thud. Of course that would happen to only me.

"Logan, you okay?" Bridgette asked, peering down our shared bunk bed to see me tangled up in my blanket on the floorboard.

"Just dandy," I huffed, kicking my blanket off of me before changing into my outfit for the day.

I walked outside with Bridgette to see whatever the heck Chris wanted at seven in the morning.

"So you and Geoff?" I started to say as we waited for the remaining campers to come out of the cabins. "You two-"

"Nothing's going on between us. I just met him," she stated with a chortle. I lifted a brow.

"He winked at you during the elimination ceremony." Bridgette gasped.

"You saw that!?"

"Of course I did," I scoffed out dispassionately. Her face turned crimson.

"This stays between us okay? He seems cool but I'm just not sure if I'm ready for a relationship," Bridgette told me, "especially since we just met."

"That's fair." I nodded in agreement. "Just phone me when you need a wingman."

Bridgette shook her head with a small smile appearing on her face.

"Morning! Hope you slept well," Chris said with a grin.

"Hi, Chris. You look really buff in those shorts," Heather commented. I grimaced.

"I know," Chris replied. "Okay. I hope you're all ready because your next challenge begins in exactly one minute."

"Oh, excuse me. I don't know if that's enough time to eat breakfast," Owen piped up. I held my growling stomach.

"Oh, you'll get breakfast, Owen. Right after you complete your twenty kilometers run around the lake!" Chris announced. I gasped.

"T-that's not enough time to warm up!" I remarked as Eva growled.

"Oh, so you're funny now? You know what I think would be funny?" she hissed, ready to attack. Duncan and Geoff held her back.

"Eva! Try to control your temper," Courtney whispered in a harsh tone.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?!" Eva exclaimed, trying to wiggle out of the boys' grasp.

"A little," Chris shrugged. "You have thirty seconds."

"Okay, that girl Eva has got to get a handle on her temper. She's only been here one day and she's already thrown her suitcase out a window and broken the lock on one of the bathroom doors." //

"Okay, runners! On your marks..." I rotated my shoulders before getting to the ground. "Get set... go!"

I jogged off with DJ while the rest ran behind us.

"You know this isn't a track meet, vertically challenged," I heard someone say.

"Why are you talking to me?" I asked as Duncan ran up next to me.

"I don't think it's against the rules to talk to my teammate," he shrugged.

"Well, I think you should leave me alone," I gritted out, trying to get into the zone.
