Chapter 4

Ivy 🧍🏾‍♀️

I groan trying to get up, but feel something heavy on my waist, I look and see a muscular tattooed arm on my waist

I look over and see Skylar on Dominic's chest, I smile at them because of how cute they look

They love each other already

I move his arm off of my waist and make my way to the bathroom, after I'm finished my business I wash my hands and make my way back to the room

They're still cuddling, I hate to break up their little cuddle party but we gotta go

"Dominic, get up" I shake him a little bit, he doesn't wake up, I roll my eyes and go to take Skylar from his arms

He automatically wakes up and grabs my hand "shit my bad Ivy" he says groaning "what time is it" he says picking his phone up to look at the time

"Time for us to go" I say rubbing the sleep from my eyes

He looks at Skylar sleeping on him "she fell asleep as soon as you went to sleep, I didn't want to wake you or her y'all both seemed extremely tired" he says chuckling a little bit

I smiled and laughed a little "she does that all the time, says she not tired but as soon as her head hit a pillow she be knocked out" I rubbed her cheek a little

I look up to see Dominic already staring at me "I missed you" he said in a whisper "I missed you so fucking much Ivy"

I sigh "I'm sorry" he nods his head "so you found out you were pregnant the day you beat up Amanda" he says smiling and I let out a laugh and nod my head "yeah, I went to the clinic before I came to school"

He looks away "I know I fucked up but you left me Ivy, I was so broken when you left me here"

"I had no choice, I wanted to tell you, I begged them before we left, they literally had to drag me to the car" I say chuckling a little

"At least your here now" he says "so we should figure out a schedule, when she stays at my house and when she stays at your house" I nod

"I'll take the weekdays Monday through Thursday and you get Friday through Sunday" he agrees to the schedule even though I'm pretty sure he'll just pop up to my house

"I'm sorry I was really rude to you, you know when you first got here" he sighs "who told you about the party anyway?"

"Your mom saw me at the grocery store and invited me" I say and he nods "was you going to bring her around, even if my mom didn't see you at the grocery store?"

I nod my head "of course I was, I just had to buy food for my apartment, we just got back and she seen me"I shrug "I wouldn't want her to grow up without her father" I say smiling at him

He smiles back at me and leans down and kisses Skylar's head "I love her already, I-I wish I could've been there ya know, first steps, her first day of school, everything" he says still smiling down at her

"She uh actually didn't go to school" I tell him truthfully

"Why?" He asks me and I sigh "So basically she would've had to have security with her at school, because we couldn't leave the house without them, so me and my parents made the decision to just homeschool her"

He nodded, probably not knowing what to say, hell I wouldn't even know what to say

"Ok well, I should get this little critter home" I say about to take her out of Dominic's arms

He shook his head and says "nah I got her, let me walk y'all out" he stands up with Skylar still in his arms

We make our way downstairs and see Dominic's parents, they come and give Skylar kisses on her cheek and say goodbye to me

Dominic places her in her car seat and kisses her forehead and says "ti amo principessa"
(I love you princess)

I smile, but I don't even know what he saying

Chile just smile

I climb into the driver's seat and put my seatbelt on "bye Dominic, I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I say giving him a smile

He nods "I'll come over tomorrow" I nod my head and s he says "be careful driving I'll see you soon" he taps the roof of my car as I pull off

"Boy don't be hitting my car" I yell out my window, I can hear him laughing in the background

I missed him
