August 26, Wall Maria High after school,

You parked your car next to the football field and sat there. You took out your phone and opened up your camera. You were taking one final look at yourself in Connie's football jersey and smiled to yourself.

He's so nice, you thought to yourself.

You closed your phone and put it in your back pocket before getting out of your car.

You walked towards your school football field and once you entered the doors you looked around to see if you knew anyone there. You were happy to sit by yourself if you needed to, but you would have felt better if you knew someone there.

You were about to walk to sit somewhere by yourself before you heard someone call your name.

"Y/N! Hey! Up here, girl!" You look to where the voice was coming from to see Ray yelling down at you from the bleachers. You smile up at her and move to start walking up the bleachers.

"Hey Ray, what's up?" You say as you get within talking distance with her on the bleachers. She shrugged her shoulders.

"Nothing much, oh! I haven't introduced you." She turned to the side to mention the person on her side. "This is Yelena, the girl you said was like a 'Hey Mamas Lesbian."

Your mouth dropped, "Oh my god, I am so sorry I didn't mean it like that."

You were going to continue before she put her hand up to stop you, "You're all good, I get that a lot. But I don't say 'Hey Mamas."

You laughed, "I'll remember that, I'm Y/N."

"Yelena," She said, smiling at you. You sat down on the bleacher in front of Ray and turned to look at the field where both teams were warming up. Since the game hadn't started yet you decided to go down the concession stand.

"Hey, I'll be back. I'm getting popcorn." You said to the couple, they nodded and went back to talking. You walked down the bleachers before you bumped into someone.
"Oh, I'm sorry, wait Y/N?" You turned around.

You turned around to see one of your best friends from your old school."Oh my god, Adrian? Hi? What are you doing here?"

"Our football team is playing Wall Marias? Wait, don't tell me this is the school you play at now?" The girl said.

You nodded, "Wow that's crazy, what are the chances."

Adrian smiled, "Small word ya know?"

It was quiet, both of you not knowing what to say.

"Well, um just wanted to let you know. Chris is here, somewhere." Adrian said, looking at you.

Your mouth opened to speak, but closed not knowing what to say.

You put a smile on your face, "It's fine. I mean I've been over him."

Adrian nodded, "Yeah, but I heard he's not over you, but if he approaches you, kick him in the balls."

You laughed, "Oh girl, I missed talking to you. I definitely will if I see him, okay?"

She nodded and continued walking. You walked the opposite direction and eventually found yourself at the concession stand. The line was long, but there was still a long time before the game started. You didn't mind waiting.

You were waiting for a couple minutes before you heard a familiar voice behind you.

"Jean, shut up. I really don't give a fuck," You turned around and saw Sasha and Jean arguing.
