Once upon a time long ago
A King was extremely passionate,
About his outfits and his clothes
He always wanted to look great.

So once in his court came a man
Who claimed to be honest,
He showed everybody a fabric
That he brought from the west.

The fabric was so special that
Only wise and clever men can see,
Those who can't see the fabric
A wise man they can't be.

The King looked toward the cloth
And pretended to be surprised,
Although he couldn't see anything
But he can't show this before he dies.

He proudly ordered the man
For him to prepare a beautiful outfit,
From this rare fabric of his
On his birthday he wanted to wear it.

All the members at the court
Were awestruck to find out,
That the King can see the cloth
And they can't see it no doubt.

So nobody pretended to be a fool
And were acting to be able to see,
The robes that were for The King
From inside a fool was everybody.

When on his birthday The King went
For a ride in his crowded town
A child shouted on the road
"The King is naked with a crown!"

Soon people stopped pretending
The frowns turned into smiles,
Which were wide enough
And visible from several miles.

So we got a lesson here that
Wise being is not simple,
We should prepare a lot for it
And be actual wise boy or girl.

Poet's Note

Hey reader,
The King really tried to look wise and honest but how long was the innocent child supposed to suppress his laughter?
