"are you asleep?" I asked

"yes."

"how did you answer then?"

he didn't say anything just mumbled "mhm."

"am I not pretty at all?"

"you're pretty. you're so pretty that I can't dare look at you."

few minutes went by. none of us spoke another word.

"are you asleep?"

he was.

but this time, for real.

you helped me learn to love and made me experience what it's like. you made me the happiest i've ever been.

a world without you is a world i don't want to live in.

after i heard the news about your health, i wouldn't be able to fall asleep on most nights and was always worried because it was too soon for you to go.

what about your dreams? becoming a teacher? remember? you wanted to become a teacher to make sure that no kid would go through the same thing as you did. you were constantly thinking about others, which i adored about you.

you never got to accomplish your dream and that breaks my heart.

i hope you're happy wherever you are.

but there is one thing i will never forgive you for.

you broke your promise.
