She sat at the dinner table with her family playing with her food because she wasn't hungry.

"Have you checked colleges yet?" her dad asked Kayla.

They kept talking but she turned to her mother but she was already talking to her younger brother.

She turned back to her food and stared at it while the sound of their conversation and laughter filled her ears.
All she wanted was to be loved like one of her siblings.

On the other side, Luke was sitting at the dinner table with his partially functional family.
They all sit around the table in their unofficial seating plan, father sitting at his desk and mother serving what looked like gruel to the children but cream of mushroom soup to her.
They get served the same thing most days of the week just like bad times and most times they over weigh.

One of his many perused talents is playing the piano, it holds more emotion than you think elegance too. He learned to play at a young age but only when he was older then did he realised why he would always fight to play. Though the days were harder he knew that he would get his happy melody soon and will be away from his minor tune but waited for his major.He goes by this quote:
Life is like a piano. White keys are the good days and black keys are the bad days but in order to play music you need both keys.
