perdi, taking after her mother, has dark brown, curly hair that falls just below her shoulder blades. to keep the curls intact and presentable, she puts lots of product in it, though still manages to have a lot of frizz on top of the curls. her skin is a nice olive shade that fades in the winter, changing into a shade or two lighter—she doesn't go outside enough to tan drastically. she has hazel eyes, the outer part more amber while the inside has more green and gold. she stands at an almost average 5'3 and weights about 112 lbs. her torso and legs are unbalanced, her long torso making her legs short. she has an inverted triangle figure, leaving her with rather broad shoulders, which becomes more prominent as she grows more muscles.
NOTICEABLE FEATURES::
her eyes. perdi strongly believes her eyes are her best feature, due to the color and her curly lashes, and her eyebrows tie into that, though the shape is more straight instead of the typical arch that people want to achieve.
her nose, however, is larger than the rest of her features, which is doesn't like since it's right in the middle of her face—too noticeable for her to like it.
PERSONALITY::
perdita, like any other hufflepuff, can tolerate many people and is very patient. her loyalties lie with what she deems as right, and she tries to get along with everyone. the girl's persistent, though, sometimes overwhelming people. besides these traits, perdi is also determined and she enjoys learning new things. being educated is a big thing for her, and it helps her feel accomplished, like she's worth something. she's also very protective over her friends and family.
however, perdita does struggle with her temper. it's not so bad that everything upsets her, but once irritated, everything angers or annoys her. this increases drastically after her fourth year, due to cedric's death her sister guesses. she is a hypocrite and can be bratty towards those she doesn't favor, often mocking them either in front of them or behind their back—whichever is more convenient for her. when her and someone don't see eye to eye, she doesn't back down from an argument until the other does or until someone stops her.

BACKSTORY::
growing up in a nice house and neighborhood, perdita was the second born daughter and child to her parents, a wizard and a muggle. her mother was a teacher who didn't understand everything in the wizarding world, so when her daughters were old enough, she insisted they start an education instead of wait until they were eleven to attend school. perdita had no problem with this, not understanding everything in the wizarding world either. her parents thought they should grow up in an even environment of both of their worlds, so they were exposed more to the muggle world before anything. it wasn't until she was nine that she was really thrust into the world of her father's. that was when her sister, evangeline, was accepted to hogwarts. everything was almost new to perdi, except for small things. she knew about magic, as her father used it all the time, and she knew about hogwarts, her father telling her and her sister stories of it all the time, and she knew they had a different world entirely. she knew that there were different dangers in his world than in her mother's world, but it wasn't until she was eleven did she truly understand what he meant.
once accepted to hogwarts, perdi found out what dangers he was talking about, all thanks to the perfect timing of her being born in the same year as harry potter.
