"Hm?", Sal leaned out of the hug. "What was that?"

"... it's nothing... Let's just go make that tea", Travis Sighed.

*~~~*

Sal and Travis had finished their tea, and were now sitting on the couch in the living room watching TV, Travis leaning his head on Sal's shoulder as he started to doze off.

"I don't want you going home, so I want you to stay the night here", Sal said after a long moment of silence the two had gone through.

"Oh- are you sure?", Travis sat up, looking out the window to see the dark sky with the twinkling stars.

"Yeah, it's late and I don't want you leaving in the dark. And I don't want you to go home alone with your dad...", Sal stood up, Travis following.

They both made their way back to Sal's room, and they both sat on the bed.

"Did you bring clothes?"

Travis nodded and grabbed his backpack, rummaging through it.

"Okay, you can just change in here if you're comfortable-"

"Oh, right.", Travis stood up and looked around the room, and walking into one of the corners before changing.

*~~~*

Travis didn't remember falling asleep, but when he awoke it was still night, and he was laying on Sal's bed, his head pressed up against the other boys chest while Sal brushed through his blonde hair with his fingers.

Travis pulled his head away.

"O-oh I'm sorry", Sal laid there, a little stunned, but he mostly looked tired.

"How long was I asleep for--", Travis moved himself onto his bad, rubbing his eyes.

"Like two hours? I don't know. I haven't slept though", Sal sat up, pressing his back against the wall.

"Tw- you didn't sleep? Why-", Travis yawned.

"Cause, If you woke up I needed to be awake, So I could comfort you...", Sal used his hands to cover his face.

"I don't know why you're so stingy about me seeing your face...", Travis sat up, and placed his hand on Sal's shoulder.

"I just don't want to scare you-", he slowly moved his hands away from his face.

"You're not going to scare me", Sal scooted closer with a sigh.

Travis adjusted himself and wrapped his arms around Sal's waist.

Sal tilted his head leaning in a little closer to Travis.

"Are you okay?" Sal said in a hushed tone.

"Only because I'm here with you...", Travis sighed, his heart racing.

The moment these two shared will never be forgotten, even if the memory will be foggy for them since they were so tired when it happened, that they were barley awake when Travis ran his fingers through Sal's long blue hair, and when Sal gently held onto Travis's face.

Travis leaned in closer to Sal, his breath hot. They didn't dare utter a word between them. The just held onto eachother. Travis practically sitting on Sal's lap, with his head rested on his shoulder, with Sal's arms around his friends waist.

"Thank you...", Travis muttered into Sal's ear before they both finally drifted off to sleep.
