The Flash, Sparks

Ch. 7 "Problem"

                                              Juniper POV 

I was holding Barry's hand when we walked into the police station, 

"Wow, this is where you work?" I asked as I looked up at him, 

He smiled widely, 

"Yeah, " He said 

"But there is someone I want you to meet, come on I think he's still here," He said 

I nodded we walked around all the police men, 

They were staring a little but then resumed what they were doing, 

Not long we approach a man with dark skin, he was sitting at his desk reading, he was wearing a suit, I see the badge on his belt, 

He was a detective, 

"Joe," Barry said 

He looked up from what he was reading, and seen us, 

"Barry," He said standing up, 

"Juniper this is Joe,"Barry said 

I looked up at the man, 

He kneeled in front of me, 

"Hello Juniper it's nice to finally meet you I'm Joe West," He said smiling at me, 

"Hi," I said bending my fingers shyly 

"Juniper why don't you get a snack from the machine while I talk to Joe," Barry said handing me a dollar, 

"Okay.." I said hesitantly 

"It's alright," He said smiling at me, 

I took the dollar and walked off, 

I looked at all the stuff they had in the machine, 

So many choices, so much candy, 

Let's see Hershey bar? or Reese's peanut butter cup? 

This is tough, I thought scratching my head, 

I got it this is a job for eenie meenie miny moe I thought 

So I finally decided and when I finished the sugary goodness, 

Something happened, like a super sugar rush, and not exactly in a good way, 

All the lights in the building started flickering, and buzzing everything started flickering, 

That quickly Barry was in front of me, 

"Juniper what's wrong?" He asked looking at me concerned, 

"I... I don't know," I said 

Sparks started dancing over my skin, 

Barry looked around making sure no one was seeing what's happening, 

That quickly he picked me up and we were back at STAR labs, 

"Guys we've got a serious problem," Barry said 

Everything around us started flickering and buzzing while the electricity was still dancing over my skin and body, 

"What happened?" Wells said rolling in the room 

With Cisco and Caitlin not far behind, 

"I don't know I was talking to Joe when this started," Barry said in a panic 

Caitlin put some rubber gloves on, 

"Okay Juniper I need you to calmly tell me what you were doing when this started," She said 

"Well Barry gave me a dollar so I got some candy, and then I started feeling weird," I said as the sparks started ricocheting off of the metal causing everyone to dodge out of the way, 

"Okay let's start off by running some tests," Cisco said 

Caitlin took my hand and we walked out of the room as I continued to spark,
