Ch. 13 "Fever"

                                                       Juniper POV 

I watched as Barry got really upset at Cisco. and i don't blame him. Cisco created a weapon that can hurt Barry. 

A freeze Gun. slowing Barry down. 

Why would he make such a thing. but that's not the bad part the bad part is that it was stolen. 

Barry ran off to find it. I was sitting in a chair at one of the computers. that's when Felicity and Caitlin came in with Barry he was Hurt. 

I ran into the room. Jumping on a chair next too him. he was groaning in pain. 

His breathing was ragged. 

"Barry.." I said upset that he was hurt. 

"I'm okay Juniper.." He said 

"No your not." I said as my lip quivered 

Then I got an Idea. Dr Wells said I lend my power to Barry. does that mean if I give him some it will help him heal faster. 

Suddenly while they were all concentrating on trying to help him I placed my small hand on his ice cold injury. 

All the electronics in the room started flickering. 

"Juniper what are you doing stop!" Barry said worried 

I had my eyes closed as I could feel the electricity drain from me. 

I pulled my hand off of Barry and he wound was healed. 

Barry looked at his injury seeing it was healed. 

I was awfully sweaty. 

I sat back in my chair. 

"Juniper that was very dangerous." Barry said speeding over to me. 

"What just happened?" Felicity asked 

"Juniper can lend her power to Barry and it seems she can also heal him." Dr Wells said 

Barry placed his hand on my forehead. then looked back at everyone. 

"She's burning up." Barry said 

"Barry... I don't feel so good..." I said then suddenly everything went black. 

                                                      Barry POV 

I caught Juniper as she fell, 

"Barry quickly lay her on the bed." Caitlin said 

I quickly laid her on the bed. 

"She's running a high fever. grab me some ice." She said 

I ran out of the room as fast as I could getting the ice. 

coming back in the room seeing Caitlin hook Juniper to the machines. 

"Was this because she healed me?" I asked 

"No this is because she used too much of her power." Cisco said 

"Think about it she's been always using a little bit at a time. it took a lot of power to heal you." Caitlin said 

"What do we do?' I asked 

"First things first we need to bring her fever down." Dr. Wells said 

I nodded with that we all waited. hoping the medicine and ice brings it down. I was beyond worried I thought as I took Junipers hand hoping the fever would break.
