Breathing Style: 氷 の 呼 吸 Kōri no kokyu Breathing of Ice
The Breath of Ice is a special derivation on the Breath of Water. This technique uses controlled sprays of liquid nitrogen to restrain and immobilize targets as well as slowing regeneration. While not inherently better for fighting demons, Y/n is able to leverage this style to better suit his expectations. The liquid nitrogen can also be used to lengthen attack range by rapidly cooling and launching liquids in a way that produces projectile ice spikes. The Breathing Style was taught to him personally by a a former Ice Pillar at the age of thirteen. Though he mastered all of its ten forms, he practically thought it was all useless and worthless for him to learn such an outstanding technique of swordsmanship.
