"Kamado-kun, stay focused. Do not let your anger consume you," M/n told the younger hunter.
"Oh? What's this? The so-called 'Ice Phantom' is also here?" Enmu cackled, amused by the presence of M/n.
Tanjirou couldn't exactly here the demon due to the strong breeze, so with no hesitation, he took the first strike.
M/n on the other hand, ignored Enmu's statement and watched Tanjirou carefully. The beautiful blaze of fire that the enraged hunter had produced seemed like a dragon dance. Mouth agape, M/n stood in place, completely frozen.
As the bluenette stood there watching Tanjirou perform a flawless cut, he couldn't help but remember a memory he never wanted to think of ever again.
"Aniki!! I'm getting better at wielding the sword!" M/n smiled widely at his older brother who was stuffing his mouth with cold soba, seated on the veranda.
Giyu nodded and gave him a slight nod.
M/n wasn't satisfied with that and wanted to be praised. "Then, let's spar!" He declared.
Giyu placed his bowl aside and approached his little brother. "I expect you have improved. However, you still wouldn't surpass me," he coldly stated.
M/n did not flinch. He took a step back and raised a stance.
Both held wooden swords, in closed stances with little-to-no openings. M/n straightened his back. And struck.
M/n exhaled a long sigh and took a stance, taking a step back, Enmu revealing the truth behind his form and having confused Tanjirou for a second. M/n disappeared from Tanjirou's sight and cut the connection between the conductor's cart and the others.
"You better kill that worthless being, Kamado." He muttered, looking up towards the roof of the ongoing cart as he stared at the carts that he separated drifting away. "BURN IT TO ASH!" He screamed as the carts were drifting apart from each other.Just as he said that, a figure rushed out from the drifting part of the train and jumped above him and made their way to the roof. "Kekekeke. Ain't no way Kamaboko's the only one getting the heroic face here." The person cackled with a prideful voice.
M/n immediately recognized the man and slightly grinned. 'Heh... Geez, they're all crazy...' He thought. He then continued inside to make sure that everyone on the current train was safe. He looked around and saw the people sleeping soundly, unaware of their surroundings.
"Good grief... How I wish to be in any of your shoes." He sighed, now feeling the ever familiar weight on his shoulder as he started feeling sleepy. "A little nap... won't hurt..." He mumbled, stopping in his tracks and placing his sword on the floor, holding it vertically. His eyelids closed and neck slightly moved downwards. "Zzz..." Without a second thought, he fell asleep.
"M/n..."
"M/n..."
"M/n..!"
A soft voice called out to the boy who lay on the floor asleep. He opens up his eyes to see his older sister staring at her with a small smile.
