When you went away and never looked back,
When you held my hands for the last time,
When your eyes were swollen and filled with tears.
What were your last words?
When you kissed me for the last time,
When it was the end of our reign on each other's hearts.
Yes, I remember,
They were "Good bye".
Those two words that ended our happiness,
Those two words that broke our hearts,
That made us cry until our eyes were tired.
What was my last word?
Yes, I remember,
It was nothing.
I was too broken that I could not speak,
To embarrassed and too hurt that I could not manage.
Our moments suddenly becoming long last memories,
That I was I pain not to remember.
But maybe it was meant to be,
Meant for our love to end in this kind of way.
Maybe I deserved it,
Maybe you deserved it.
As you let go of my hands,
As you disappeared into the darkness,
Leaving me without no purpose,
I couldn't hold your hands tighter.
You flashed away with in a blink of an eye.
I guess it was just another life's plays,
Another drama to be put in place,
Who knows?
I guess it was just meant to be...
