That night, Jose took his seat, reserved up front.

The show began.

There on the stage was his love.

She was dressed up in a beautiful red dress and sitting on the piano onstage.

She began singing.

I get along without you very well

Of course, I do

Except when soft rains fall

And drip from leaves, then I recall

The thrill of being sheltered in your arms

Of course, I do

But I get along without you very well

I've forgotten you

Just like I should

Of course, I have

Except to hear your name

Or someone's laugh that is the same

But I've forgotten you just like I should

What a guy

What a fool am I

To think my breaking heart

Could kid the moon

What's in store?

Should I phone once more?

No, it's best that I stick to my tune

I get along without you very well

Of course, I do

Except perhaps in spring

But I should never think of spring

For that would surely break my heart in two

As she sang, Jose felt his heart beating with every word she spoke, every movement she made, and well everything about her.

When she finished, everyone applauded.

She curtsied.

Jose climbed up onstage, handed her a rose and kissed her.

She accepted it and kissed him back.

Everyone applauded louder.

He then began to sing and she joined in with him.

Jose-You are my lucky star

I saw you from afar

Two lovely eyes at me they were gleaming

Beaming

Jessica-I was star struck

Jose-You're all my lucky charms

Jessica-I'm lucky in your arms

Jose-You've opened heaven's portal here on earth for this poor mortal

Both-You are my lucky star

The two share a kiss together and the crowd goes wild.
