Seojun's POV
It's already been 3 years since my parents gone. They died in a car accident on our way to Busan. I wish I've die too with them. I'm the first child and have a little brother, Minhyuk. After the accident, we live with my uncle and auntie.
This year I decided we move back to our house. Now, as routine I will prepare Minhyuk for his kindergarten. Then, I sent him to his school before go to my work. Yes, after high school I just straight find work for us two. Even uncle and auntie dont mind us stay with them, but I do.
As usual, I wake up early and make breakfast first before wake Minhyuk up. Then, we shower together. (we're brother so its fine??) After shower, we get ready and we go by my bicycle. After that, I will go to my work which is cafe. By noon, I go to pick him up. On my way, I got a call by the teacher said my little brother been hit by a car and they on the way to hospital.
I quickly change my way and go to hospital. I run to the ER and Minhyuk still in the ER. Short long story, he's been warded for his injury. Luckily there's nothing serious. The doctor and nurses been check on him.
I stay at the hospital for first 2 days and then I only got to visit him on my lunch break and after work.
On my one of the visits, there's this nurse that Minhyuk always told me check on him. "Hyung hyung" he pull my shirt while showing the door. I just look at the door to find a nurse walk her way to us. "Noona noona" Minhyuk excitedly waving his little hands. "Hey Minhyugie.. Hi too" she waves her hand and bow to me.
She check on Minhyuk. "Hmm.. according to the doctor, he said Minhyuk can go home another 2 days if everything's fine." she say. Her soft voice is so calm.. "Hyung hyung! You here that? I can go home!" Minhyuk shake my body. "Ah yes yes. You need to stay healthy okay?" I smile while pat his head. "If there's nothing, I need to leave now." she say while bow and walk to the door.
"Minhyuk ah. I'll go out for a while" I quickly go to the door. "Err.. Miss nurse.. wait" I say as I dont know her name. "Yes sir. I'm Dahyun btw" she say while show her nametag. "Uh.. Ah Dahyun-ssi.. Thanks for everything.. Minhyuk really happy and healing fast.. I dont know how to pay your kindness.." I shyly say.
"It's alright btw it's my job.. You dont need to pay me sir. Beside Minhyugie is a strong boy." she say. "Ah sorry.. My name is Seojun. Thanks again" I say while bow to her. Aish.. Why I'm nervous. She bow to me and walk to another ward. I get in to Minhyuk's room and sit on the chair beside his bed.
"Hyung.. Why your face red?" he ask me while touch my face. "and hot too..." he say again. "Really? Maybe because I'm hot" I say while fanning myself. Tonight I'll stay with Minhyuk because tomorrow is weekend. Then, I go to toilet to clean up before sleep or more too look on Minhyuk.
As usual, before sleep we will talk about each other's day. Minhyuk tell me more about how Dahyun be so kind to him, how she stop him from crying and sometimes stay till he sleep. Wahh.. So gentle girl.. Wife material.. 'Aishh!! Yah Seojun-ah! Stop think that!'
Around 2am, I've woke up by Minhyuk's crying.. 'He's on bad dream again..' Yes, he always got bad dreams whenever he's sick. "Omma Appa.. Dont go.." I try to calm him down but he still crying not too loud..
Suddenly, someone enter the room. "Who.." my words cut after see Dahyun. She quickly go to his other side and hug him till him calm down. After few minutes, Minhyuk fall asleep. "Woah.. You're good with kids, huh?" I say while tug the blanket on Minhyuk.
She just hummed while play with Minhyuk's hair. "I'm sorry for the trouble, you can continue your work back." She stay still. "I'm sorry to ask this, but why is he bad dreaming? And where are your parent?" She ask.
"They're gone. It's already 3 years. That time, Minhyuk was 3 years old. And he always bad dreaming whenever he's sick. I feel bad for him." I tell her.. Without noticed, few tears out.
She pass few tissue to me to wipe it. "I'm sorry.. I'm not suppose to cry but I miss them too. I have no one to share my burden, what I feel" I look down. I hold Minhyuk's hand as he the only family I have.
"Hey. You know, you can share everything with me." she hold my hand that hold Minhyuk. I look up. "Hmm.. I dont know.. I dont want to pressure you, it's fine. Beside, we barely know each other." I say.
"Maybe we can go out few times.. get to know each other.. What you say?" she offer. "Is this a date?" I ask her. "Kind of.. I'm single.. You?" "I'm too.. but you're sure this? I dont want to put you into my problems."
She look down and walk to the door. I stop her by her hand. "Hey.. Maybe I can give some shots." I say while smiling. She hug me. "Hey.. Isn't too early?" I ask while looking at her. "Nope" she peck me on lips and run out the room.
I'm stop functioning. 'Yah Dahyun!' I calm my ass down and try to fall asleep smiling.
2 days later
Minhyuk is fine and can go home today. The doctor and nurse check on him last time before go out. We're on the lobby when someone call us. "Minhyugie! Seojun! Wait!" We look at the voice. It's Dahyun but she's in casual clothes.
"Hello noona" Minhyuk waves his hands while whispering to me. I carry him on my back cause I lose in paper rock scissor. "It's Dahyun noona.." "I know Minhyuk.. I'm not that old to not remember her.." "Hey, what you doing here? Or your shift done?" I ask her.
"Yup! Let's go" she drag my hand. "Hey dont too fast.. Minhyuk's on my back and the bag!" she snatch our bag and wear it. "You carry him, I carry your bag" She smiling while skip happily.
I just giggles on her cute action. 'Aish this girl.' "Noona! Where are we going? And why you're with us? " Minhyuk ask her. She stop and turn to us.
"Me? Now, I'm your hyung's girlfriend. Where we going? Where do you want to go?" she tell Minhyuk.. Wait! What? Girlfriend? My face shows it all. "Hyung! Is it true? So that's mean Noona will visit always?"
"Your hyung is too shy Minhyuk-ah.." she whisper to him while get him off me "Hey! I can hear that." I say. Then, the two start running away while holding hand. 'Cute!'
"Minmin-ah.. Careful.." I say while jog to them.
After having lunch, we go to aquarium as Minhyuk want to.. and also our first dating.. Minhyuk always run towards the tank/space as he saw the sea creatures.
When at penguin section, my mind suddenly think back about our relationship. It just makes me sad to think if this doesn't work.
Dahyun call me as we will move to other section but I still in my thought. She waves her hand. "Hey Seojun.. What are you thinking?" she ask me after I back in reality. "Nothing.. but you sure this is fine with you? I mean.. I dont really want you to pity me and I dont want to troubles you." I look down.
"Hey.. it's fine. I know I love you from the first we met.. I know it's real I can feel it" then she peck me. I blush.
"Ahhhh.. Noona kiss hyung!" Minhyuk say as he close his eyes. Ops!
