Chapter 10 ~ [1~5] Disguise as a Doctor

On the next day Chen ru had already left the dimension leaving the poor Xi behind to deal with the worms.

On his new courtyard Chen ru sat down on his desk reading mails from all over the place by inviting him some chats over some political issues.

Chen ru stand up seeing nothing intrest him and went out, "good morning master" a servant greeted him with a bow "call Xiao Ni" 

Quickly the servant left, Chen ru looked the whole yard and felt calming surges within his heart.

Out of blue a man dressed all in black appeared at his back "Young master Chen a letter from Marshal" the man gave Chen ru a letter folded into a simple envelope.

Chen ru stretches his slender hands and took the letter "En" then the man left, Chen ru opened the letter and a single word has been written on its center.

Chen ru smiled 'is it time?' Chen ru then saw Xiao ni entering the yard "master" Chen ru nodded appreciating his presence "dress up we have work to do"

On the Dragon Tower of the capital a man dressed in white and beside him is a man also dressed in white carry a wooden box, This is Chen ru playing as a doctor with a mask covering his whole apperance including his eyes.

Upon appearing inside the largest gate designed with dragons and clouds a guard stops Chen ru from the gate "state your business"

"I have been requested an audience by the Marshal"

"Your seal"

Xiao Ni quickly took a golden seal and the guard nodded "escort this distinguished doctor to his Marshal dwellings"

"Yes!"

Then 5 guards followed them inside the palace, nobody even question his mask as every doctor inside the capital wore mask to keep their identity hidden.

It was a long way, yet unexpectedly Zham Kou showed up from afar, Chen ru frown 'Conceal' concealing his aura Chen ru walks gracefully unbothered.

3 men walks at their direction, Chen ru was not tense at all and as they pass each other without any problem, Chen reach take a turn yet Zhan kou fixed his gaze at Chen ru back.

Chen ru soon reach the yard where Zhan zou resides, many guards are stationed around the large yard, a trusted ally from Zhan zu looked at Chen ru "seal"

Taking the seal from Xiao ni, the general nodded not even showing his surprised eyes "let them in" Chen ru then entered the yard.

Chen ru has not seen the true beauty of the Dragon tower as he was escorted at a remote area inside the palace.

The Tiger palace where past princes resides, it is bold and luxuriant, a manor and few decorations, and its majority consist of wide stone platform and training equipment.

"A physician of the south has arrived Marshal!"

A servant shouted loud and clear, Soon after Chen ru entered the closed room while Xiao ni waited outside "I thought you would not understand what I have written for you"

Zhan zu sat on the his bed while pale lips and skin are visible "you look perfect" Chen ru smiled as he walk at a table with a box.

"You plan to easy the tension of the 4 powerhouses?"

"No, I want them to compete"

"How so?"

"By letting them fight inside the court"

"Are you planning to enter the Hall Of Political Affairs?"

"Sharp as ever are you? But it also depends, I may just form new ways and idea"

Chen ru took a single white needle while Zhan zu slowly lay down on the bed feeling weakened.

"Are you planning to reverse the tension to the prince and the empress?"

"Yes, you have something in mind?"

Chen ru then took another black needle "I will inject poison that will not cause death, this is a special poison, by using it the effectiveness of this black needle will waver and it will become useless until the poison returned"

Chen ru then injected it without hesitation while Zhan zou just watched him "what kind of poison is this?"

"Brilliance poison, a poison with intelligence, it can do things like fake pulse and symptoms, it act like a heart on its own and control your health without harming you"

Zhan zou then realized that Chen ru is someone terrifying, a poison with intelligence, it defy all sort of things.

"while I do all the work you'll stay here  preparing your plans"

"Well then I shall take my leave"

Chen ru stand up slowly but mid way his hands felt the warm touch from a strong man "do not be reckless"

Chen ru looked at both of their hands "I will, rest assured" Chen ru gently put  Zhan zou hand on the bed with a smile.

"I'll be careful"

Chen ru then stand up straight taking the box with him and proceeds to exit, as the door opens "Her Grace! The Empress has arrived"

Chen ru remained calm and walk down the stairs leading to the main ground, Chen ru bowed gently "so can you tell the Marshal illness?"

"Yes your grace"

"Hm? Tell me"

"It is a rare disease made by poison, this disease is a side effect after consuming poison, this poison is very rare and few people have it, if not for my journal that was left by my master I have not known its symptoms"

"Tell me about the disease"

Chen ru bowed again "it is a disease that weak the heart and sudden dizziness while its skin show some scars colored in red, it is curable but the cure is beyond my ability"

The empress looked at Chen ru mask frowning "En" The empress was about to dismiss Chen ru but then "but I have stoped its effect for the mean time, I have given the Marshal a dose of white flower, it may give him another 11 months to live"

The empress quickly looked at him "how dare you lay a finger on the great Marshal?!"

"I beg your pardon your grace?"

"......."

Empress Yin quickly closed his mouth "you may dismiss" Chen ru smirk behind his mask "your grace, Before I forget I also gave him poison immunity disease"

Empress Yin widen his eyes but did not say any longer, Chen ru bowed for the last time and left the large yard with Xiao ni.
