🌺Chapter 24🌺 Reunion Of The Trio

Horror sat on the bed as he took his axes, cleaning them up. Killer also cleaning his knife while sitting on the bed. Cross had told them that Nightmare found out about the letters, but Cross doesn't know about Dust's condition in his room because Nightmare locked him there. Knowing that, Horror and Killer decided to get him out of there quickly and right now, they are preparing themselves and their weapons.

Ever since Cross told them that, he never visitted them again. Killer assumed that Nightmare might did something to him. Their training instructor has done a lot for them, risking his life to help the trio. He had betrayed Nightmare so many times. Cross was supposed to help them today to take Dust back to them, but he never come to their house ever since. Killer and Horror can't waste any more time, so they just decided to go and bring Dust back by themselves.

Killer sighed as he finished cleaning up his knife, then he looked up at Horror. Horror also finished cleaning his axes.

"Horror, are you sure about this?"

Killer asked. Horror looked at him,

"I'm sure, Killz. I'm very sure we can get him back."

"No, I mean.. are you sure you can attack with only one hand? We don't know what Nightmare prepared for us when we got to his mansion.."

Horror looked at his right arm that was cut off a few while back. Horror sighed and looked at Killer,

"Don't worry about me, we have to focus on getting Dust back to us."

"...okay."

Horror looked at the opened window, the wind blows softly, making the curtains moves. The birds are flying while singing. A beautiful afternoon. Horror stood up and looked at Killer,

"Let's go. We can't waste more time."

Horror and Killer are walking down the village, but everything is awfully quiet. No monsters, no humans. Where did they go? Something's wrong, they can feel it. But they cannot worry about that since that's not their business. They need to focus on getting Dust out of Nightmare's mansion. Killer looked around while they continue walking.

"..I wonder what happened here.. It's so quiet."

Horror looked around,

"..we don't have to worry about this. Let's just keep going."

Horror said. Killer nodded as they continued walking. They are almost arriving at Nightmare's mansion as they can see the building now. But.. there are also something in front of the building. Horror and Killer stopped walking as they trying to see what are the things guarding the mansion. Once they can see them clearly, the know what it is that guarding the mansion.

The black goopy entities with doll facemask. Those are the entities they fought back then, and now they are guarding the mansion. There are lots of them that Killer and Horror couldn't count how many of them there. Killer spat his saliva as he wiped his 'mouth' and said,

"Those black goop things again?"

"Seems like Nightmare wants us to fight them so they can prevent us from going inside the mansion."

Horror said, he gripped his axe tighter, his other axe is on his back, along with Dust's spear. Killer also gripped his knife tighter. The entities started to move towards them.

"Killer, try not to get hurt, okay?"
