A sister. I have a sister.

Moonflower didn't believe it at first. She couldn't have sister and not know that she existed. But all this had to be true. Glory and Deathbringer couldn't just say that she had a sister, when really Moonflower didn't.

But they did say that she didn't have a sister.

Moonflower looked down at the ground. Now that she knew of her sister, she was surprised that she hadn't heard anything about her in either of her parent's minds. So they mustn't think of Moonflower's sister at all. Why would Glory and Deathbringer risk killing their tribes just to save her from the Kingdom of the Sea, when they already had another daughter? Another heir for the throne?

Hang on, Moonflower realised. This means that I'm not destined to take Glory's place one day. I don't have to be the queen of the RainWings and NightWings. But I was kind of looking forward to it.

"What's her name?" Moonflower asked her parents without looking up from the ground. "Where can I find her?"

"Her name is Firefly," Glory answered. "She lives at Jade Mountain Academy."

Moonflower drummed her claws on the ground. "Can I go find her? What does she look like?"

"She has purple scales," Deathbringer piped up. "You'll know her when you see her. Firefly's a year older than you."

"Well then," Moonflower said. "I'm going to Jade Mountain Academy."

~~~~~
Moonflower hadn't expected Jade Mountain Academy to be so crowed.
Dragons were everywhere. They barely payed any attention to Moonflower, which she agreed was nice. There was only one dragon she wanted to talk to in this place. Her friends had come with her. Fierceclaws kept hissing and growling at anyone who stood on her tail, which was most of the dragons; Squelch was trying to have a conversation with one of the other MudWings, but he was just giving Squelch a blank expression; Skyfire kept asking dragons what their names were, and if they enjoyed Jade Mountain, and if he could join one of the winglets here (which he couldn't, because he was a prophecy dragonet); Darkmagic was shouting "Make way for the daughter of Queen Glory and Deathbringer!" which Moonflower did not find helpful at all; and Shadow walk walking along with her head low and her wings folded in close to her sides. Moonflower guessed that she was terrified of this place.
Also, Moonflower's brain felt like it was going to explode. There were so many thoughts. How did these dragons think so much?
"What's going on here?" a voice asked. A large MudWing appeared in front of them, and Moonflower stopped abruptly. The MudWing was brown, with amber underscales. He had a hole in his back leg, which looked like someone had stabbed their claws into it, meaning he was limping for life.
"You're not students," the MudWing observed. "So what are you doing here?"
Fierceclaws hissed. "We're looking for some stupid RainWing."
"Firefly can't be stupid!" Moonflower couldn't help but defend her sister, even though she hadn't even met her.
"Firefly?" the MudWing echoed. "You're looking for Firefly? She'd be in the library, like she always is. I can take you there, if you want me too."
"Sure," Squelch said. The MudWing started down one of the tunnels. All the dragons moved out of his way, meaning Moonflower could finally see what the cave looked like. It was all rock. Rock floors, rock walls, rock ceiling. But glass lanterns hung from the ceiling, with small fires burning inside them. The lanterns cast orange and yellow light all around the passageway.
