Seeing Ahmed's eyes so empty only at the age of 3 should make everyone realise what horrors he must have faced. Children don't deserve to be killed and robbed of their happiness and safety. How many times do the Palestinians have to tell the world that their children don't deserve this? Better yet, WHY should they have to plead for help? Why do their lives not have as big of an impact as any other child's?
I don't know what will happen to Ahmed after this; who he will live with, how he will cope with the trauma. I can only hope he is kept safe and the rest of his life is filled with happiness and security. May Allah protect you, sweet child. Ameen.
