Can you imagine being told you have to destroy your own home ? It's ridiculous to even think of for some of us. Try to imagine if you were in the position of the Palestinians living in Silwan and Sheilh Jarrah and other neighbourhoods that have been/are being ethnically cleansed. How would you feel?
I would certainly be heartbroken, having to leave behind my memories and family and things of emotional value. I would be angry at this reasoning. I would be worried and fearful of my future.
How is it fair that the Palestinians have to experience this? How is fair that they are uprooted from the home they've known just because the Israelis want the place for themselves to do what they wish? Some of these people will have nowhere to go.
